Reduce costs
During times when the market was bad and we were not making money I feel fees should have been adjusted to reflect this and more agents would probably have been able to remain in the business.
There is a lot of training in various fields of our industry.
I went to pay the day before and was unable to do so. I called someone at the phone number given and my call was not returned. Fortunately, the next day I tried to pay on-line and it worked but it was a 2 step process. What is the point of having a cart if I can not pay my dues all at once. I had to go thru the process twice to pay my September dues and the dues that are due in December.
Too expensive for what is offered.
Also the legislation agenda is focused on protecting broker/owners control of the market rather than a virtual orientation that will prevail in the long run.
I do not feel that the organizations interest are aligned with the modern real estate market place.
The MLS system should become an open data base available to anyone for a subscription fee. Today it is being used to protect overly expensive commission structures.
They are fast with the questions I have, friendly always and very knowledgeable.

I think that we pay too much for what we get ! All Realtor's fees are too high considering the fact that NONE of our organizations are standing up for us against the "BIG" internet companies ! They are still selling our listings to them (for big bucks I'm sure) and having agents pay big bucks for leads off of OUR listings ! They are trying to eliminate agents, and I believe they will do so 5 to 10 years from now !

Nothing to say. I never have discussed this topic with any agent in my life. I don't know why this needs to be done. It's a region based , need based membership. We don't recommend these things to each other.
