We’ve only attended our first Meet & Greet; however, the staff is friendly, informative, helpful, and gracious. Staff are certified and trained for their roles. Nice that dogs are “wiped down” at the end of their day to freshen them up from all of the doggie play.
Great communication, wonderful to have the live video feeds and the play groups by size. Chewie came home happy. we love that he had a safe place to play and socialize.
Extremely friendly and thorough. I love the report cards, webcams, various exciting things the dogs get to do each week with a little donation to the foundation, and the daycare plans they offer. Great experience so far!
Customer service is excellent. Staff members seem genuinely dedicated to what they do -- caring for our best furry friends. It's a real comfort knowing that McNorman has found a place where every day is the best day ever :)

What most appeals to me is the built in structure of South Waterfront Dogtopia. My dog, Jack, was kicked out of three dog daycares prior to starting at Dogtopia when he was 12 months old. This wasn’t because he was mean or aggressive toward people or other dogs. Actually, Jack, by nature is a very social, extroverted dog that loves people and dogs alike. But as a puppy he had little contact with other dogs so he never learned how to pick up on dog social cues. He plays on the rough side and ignores the signals from other dogs with other play styles. This combined with his poor self control made getting a good daycare fit challenging. Dogtopia staff picked this up on Jack’s initial entry assessment but unlike the other dog daycares I tried, they “had a plan” on how the help Jack overcome his immaturity!!! I think what has helped Jack gain control the most was putting him on their puppy schedule where he is put in a crate for 10 minutes every hour. Also the two hour nap time where all the dogs are put in crates to have down time. A big advantage of Dogtopia is all the dog handlers have to go through the same training program, which from what I have seen on the webcam, translates to a calm relaxed approach to the dogs. This is exactly the environment I want for Jack.

Responsive and caring staff take excellent care of my fur babies. I enjoy watching them on the webcam. Perhaps the best indication is the excitement when they arrive.

We used Dogtopia for the first time on Sunday , 9/25. All the staff was extremely kind, professional and knowledgeable . Website /APP very easy to use and to upload vaccination documents.
The meet and greet was very organized and staff welcomed our dog Bella with open arms. I felt everyone there was kind and sweet to our dog as it was her first time ever at a doggie day care.
Very excited to be a part of the group there and we live out of town but come up to Portland often to visit our kids and look forward to having our dog Bella use the facility and play with the other dogs in the near future when we come up.

Friendly staff, always tries to accommodate my needs. My dog seems genuinely happy to be there and it's a good feeling when boarding. I like being able to check in on him on the video. I'm very happy with the services and have driven quite a long way now since I've moved from downtown Portland, but I still come for boarding because I know my dog is feels safe.
I sure wish the parking situation could be improved, even if Dogtopia could get one dedicated parking spot on the street. I've been hounded by parking officials several times when running in even though I haven't been in the way and it's only taken a minute.
The team is full of bright personalities and great attitudes, their obvious love for the pets in their care is admirable!
I can’t begin to express how much appreciation and gratitude I have for the entire Dogtopia South Waterfront team. My pup has been a full-time attendee for nearing one year now, and in that time we have experienced nothing but top-notch service and care.
The staff of Dogtopia South Waterfront are incredibly passionate about their roles and their care of the pups. Their communication is prompt and effective and they are more than accommodating for special needs and requests. My pup is always enthusiastically greeted when he comes in which brings a smile to my face and happy wiggles from him. It is of the utmost importance to me that my pup is safe, healthy, and happy and the diligent and dedicated staff here consistently ensure this. It is always a delight to be able to peek in on him during the day on the webcams and see that he is having so much fun with his furry friends and canine coaches.
In addition to the amazing staff, the services they provide are impeccable. The Dogtopia app allows for convenient scheduling of any daycare, spa, or boarding service. I was thrilled with the consistent communication I received when my pup boarded as it put my mind at ease. Prior to pickup from boarding he received spa services and was left smelling lovely (the de-shedding shampoo is the best!).
The highlights of my week are the regularly scheduled calendar events. The themes for the photo days, the crafts, and snack days are extremely creative and absolutely adorable. I love being able to receive a paw print painting craft or printed photos of my pup all dressed up.

My dog Percy the chihuahua loves coming there and also everyone has been very cool about me just showing up with him since I have never been able to get the app to work no matter what I do.
Every day Maidel is so happy to prance through the doors of Dogtopia. I love picking her up happy and exhausted from a full day of play in toy box. The staff are so loving and amazing. I can't say enough good things about the loving way they treat my doggie and all the dogs in their care.

*Everyone* at Dogtopia is always so friendly, 100% of the time. And it’s clearly not just towards the pet owners, because my dog loves going to daycare. He gets so so excited anytime we’re near there, and drags me into the door ready to play. He comes home happy and tired
