Our experience has been awesome! My baby is happy and engaged all day and the teachers are all great.

One recommendation would be to add a special weight room for women - it is intimidating to use the weight machines when it is crowded with men and teenage boys

Our son enjoys swimming on Fridays. Our son's teacher's do a fantastic job building there skills to have them all kindergarten ready.
Beth Schultz's rowing class on Saturday mornings is one of the best classes offered. It is in such demand, that in order to get a spot, I have to set an alarm each week and be ready to sign up within minutes when it opens or I will not get a spot. Is it possible to get more rowers or give her a bigger classroom so she can accommodate more people?
Instructors are friendly and knowledgeable leading their classes.
Great facility, teachers are so much fun (Beth Schultz) and experienced.
I love the Salem Y. I would have given it a 10 but you have to pay for parking and sometimes it can be difficult to find parking spots in the evening.
The people - members and staff - make an excellent community to engage with.
The kids club makes it so my wife and I can actually go to the gym. Without it, There’s really no way she could attend any of the ymca classes she goes to or I to do some quick laps in the pool.

It is a very well equipped location with a great deal of options for their members and reasonably priced, but the biggest reason is the friendly and caring staff. They are cheerful, helpful and constantly maintaining the environment.

Ive only been twice, to sauna. But the facility is lovely and staff has been incredibly helpful!
The Y is wonderful in every way. Friendly. Great classes. There is a sense of home and community and health as soon as you walk through the door.

The facility is always clean, the staff is welcoming and attentive, and the water aerobics classes my family participate in are really fun and engaging. The workout space is well-organized and the staff and trainers are always available for pointers.
