The Y has everything I need. Good fitness room, great instructors, a beautiful yoga and mindfulness space. Even pool and sauna which may not be super lux but perfectly adequate. But the most important factor is that the Y does a whole lot for our community. For me it just makes sense to spend my money here instead of some for profit gym.
The Y serves my workout needs well. I applaud the programs tailored to the whole Salem community.
The Y is great
Both of my daughters have had a wonderful experience at the Y childcare. They experienced infant, toddler, and preschool care. The teachers are creative, kind, and patient. They have learned so much. I really like the variety of experiences - parks and playgrounds, swimming lessons (in preschool), art and literary, science projects, use of the yoga studio for movement, and dance. It has been such a pleasure having this gem right in my hometown.

Most important My Daughter love the program and the staff member are amazing.
I feel so confident in my child's care and he loves going to "school." There is a good balance of structured activities and free play and the kids are taken outside as often as the weather allows. The staff is amazing.

The people are great, the member benefits are well worth the membership fee, and even in months that I don't make it there very often I can still feel good about my money going toward an organization that does real good within my community.
