The North Shore Y has all the amenities that I like. The state of the art building with all the new equipment is a showplace! It offers scheduling to meet the needs of many people, and programs that fit.

Love the facility and the staff. I started taking classes a couple of months ago and across the board the instructors are excellent. Really love that I have that available to me.

The new facility is outstanding! There's lots going on with lots of classes/programs to choose from. The staff is knowledgable and friendly. The clientele ranges in age from infants to senior citizens. There's lots of parking and even a Cafe.

I love the layout of the gym and it does not feel too condensed which I have felt at other gyms. I am able to workout without feeling like other people are waiting to use the equipment and everything just feels very clean.

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

First of all,unlike the Y in town, there is plenty of parking space.
There is a nice cafe. I know that they only offer regular
coffee. The expresso machine was nice. I wish that they offered soup.
The people at the entry are friendly and helpful.
I like my fitness class.

The staff is friendly and courteous. The group class trainers are mostly great. As far as the ones I have worked out with.The facility is clean!

There is a nice variety of classes. I would love to see functional training classes in the turf room using all the equipment that is only in there. I rarely see people in that area. Circuit training classes in there would be popular. Using the battle ropes and sleds and weighted balls and TRX etc. I have to go to other gyms for those classes. I would love it if I never had to go to a different gym!

To have knowledgeable people at the desk and walking around the equipment/fitness area to assist members. To pre-schedule a session with someone to know how to use the nautilus equipment properly for their age, etc.

The staff is very friendly and helpful at the front deck. The staff on the gym floor is always cleaning the equipment and the space. The equipment is the best and very enjoyable to use. The facility is so well designed and functional that I rate it A+++.
