What do you like about our program and activities?

We love the swim classes! Lisa is so good with our son who is finally gaining confidence in the pool after failed parent child classes we switched him to preschool swim and he loves going now! We have noticed the past few weeks a lack of lifeguard supervision. Last week a child in my sons class had her bubble fall off jumping into the pool and another parent ended up jumping in the pool as both of the lifeguards were not near our side of the pool during busy swim class times, during this time both sides of the pool are being used for childrens swim class. That would be my only complaint

I really like it. The new facility is beautiful and the pool is really great. I’m able to look on the app to find times when not very many people will be there, so I feel safer. I just started using the virtual Y for tai chi and I really like that, too. Also it was really easy to join and I appreciate the reasonable price of membership.

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

I would recommend the Cape Ann Y to family and friends. It is clean, seems to be well run and offers an array of classes for all levels. The website is user friendly making it easy to find what you need any given day. My experiences with the fitness staff and trainer for an orientation session have been positive.

I would like to see an online a graph which shows what the busiest times are each day so I can avoid those times. Supermarkets do this so I know it is possible.

Great people work there. Place is very very clean. Nice new equipment just a beautiful atmosphere I’ve been a member at one Ymca or another for 35 years and this is the best one

I am so impressed by all of the talented instructors! Each instructor brings enthusiasm and skill to every class. The talent level of the instructors is amazing. The classes are challenging and I appreciate the abundance of options. Participating in classes has helped me on my health journey and I'm grateful. The Cape Ann Y is a beautiful and clean facility that is easy accessible. We are lucky to have such a wonderful resource. Kudos to the instructors and staff!

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

I have been a member for nine years and have enjoyed my experiences while doing floor and water classes. I have met wonderful people and there is no pressure to be a star. The new Y is so nice, and clean. The staff is exceptional. Friendly , kind and good natured.

Fun, dedicated staff who are sensitive to my son's needs/personality. I like that my son gets to interact with kids from other grade levels and that he gets a fair amount of physical activity, socialization and creative time.
