Student Testimonials
I recently attended Amanda's Sunday AM hot class. Due to a significant injury it had been 19 weeks since the last time I was in this studio, and not ironically the last time was in an Amanda-led experience. In my estimation, her teaching is more exacting and particular than ever, which I consider a yoga compliment. Brevity of words, most effective words are verbs directing action/motion, and a compelling unraveling of the class journey through her presence. She is a talent that should be rewarded. If not rewarded, at least applauded.
I cannot attribute similar plaudits to all my fellow classmates. The vast majority are wonderfully attentive and considerate, but a select couple think they have carte blanche to come and go as they please, distribute an inordinate amount of unnecessary accoutrements all around their mat, and effectively not "do" the class as they are doing other postures than those described. For me, these few are pretentious and self-absorbed, disrespectful and incredibly unmindful. It is because of these few I spend less time at the Westminster studio.
More challenging classes, specifically scuplt. I go to what’s offered but find that there aren’t enough and the great teachers are full (a sign of what people want) ie Carrie, Jeneka… but some of the others just aren’t the same. I just left a 4:30 Maura sculpt and it was so disappointing. She’s so sweet and kind and has a great delivery, but it just wasn’t much of a workout. We had a 30 minute warm up and a 9 minute cool down! I burned 174 active calories and barely sweat, as compared to about double that in a typical class. I didn’t want to hurt her feelings but would appreciate it if you could maybe attend one and then provide feedback? Thanks!
Cheryl is the best!
I love that they do free classes on the weekends- it makes yoga a activity that everyone can participate in because memberships and classes can be expensive
Love the classes and instructors
The quality of teaching and variety and number of classes can't be beat!
Always a great experience! Love Jeneka and her class!
The teachers are amazing, you feel very welcomed when you arrive. The classes can be challenging and I always feel so much better for the remainder of the day!!
C2 and Sculpt are my go to’s . Sadly though, CorePower is very negligent with safety features such as basic life saving equipment such as a defibrillator.
Everyone is so friendly. It was a bit nerve wracking returning to yoga after a significant hiatus, but even with how busy this location is, it feels comfortable and easy!
Great studio! Clean and friendly
The teachers at the Boulder studios are wonderful!
Clean facility, nice locker rooms, convenient cubbies (although the light needs to be repaired there— it is hard to see and somewhat of a safety hazard), and pleasant instructors
I had such a great experience with jessica in the hot yoga class, and the boulder corepower offering free classes to students is so awesome!
Liked the instructor and the managers were great. Class was overly crowded; sometimes hard to follow the instructions because couldn’t see or hear the instructor. Overall good.
Energy!! Welcome back Adam and Camille!!
Needs to be updated!!!
The staff are so friendly!
Love the instructors and variety of flows in each class type. My favorite instructor is Nicole, but there are many that are great!
I like the C2 and yoga sculpt classes and there are a variety to choose from. The instructors are friendly and welcoming and the studio is clean.
Everything was amazing- class, flow, teacher. Donna creates unique experiences. Thank you CorePower!
Kudos to Lori for accommodating all of the Westminster transplants to the hot yoga class on Sunday morning. It was a tight squeeze, but she handled the situation with poise and humor and made the class a success -- as she always does. It waas my first visit to the Louisville classes.. it's an easy ride up there and I'll likely go back in the future!
I like the heat and 1 hour classes. The instructors are always very kind and encouraging. The whole vibe feels good every time I go.
It be would great if you could update the app to let us know the heat in the studio isn't working.
Was very disappointed to show up to a Saturday C2 class to learn that there was no heat. I completely understand that things like this happen, however listing it in the app would have been great, so I could have either brought a long sleeve workout shirt or gone to another class. Leigh offered to take me out of the class so I wouldn't get charged, which was very kind. I ended up staying because I was already there and as always her class was great. Just would have loved to have had a heads up on the no heat because honestly I would have gone to a different class since I go more for heat than anything.
I’ve been practicing at Corepower for 17 years! What keeps me coming week after week is the teachers. They are all gifted and amazing!!!
Laura’s class was excellent. I’ve taken a few classes and the teacher makes the biggest difference.
Naomi, classes are different every time and upbeat
Naomi has created such a positive and fun atmosphere. Her Thursday class is always full (waiting list full!!) and everyone knows eachother because she has made such a welcoming environment. I’ve never been to a class like hers before. Yogis hooping and hollering, cheering on other yogis, JOKING all while getting such a great workout. It’s truly a unique experience. I’ve never been to a sculpt class like hers before.

I was allowed in to J.J.'s Sunday early afternoon class recently. What a special talent she has to ease a harried mind and carefully push an aching body. Hers comes with an economy of words, an efficient and effective guidance, and a robust attention to what yoga means to her: Smile, enjoy, over and over again. Something to think about and later appreciate, to be sure.
Quite easily, J.J. needs to be in some yoga Hall of Fame, whatever that means, and CP is fortunate to have found her.
