The partner structure during competition
The team aspect is great! It also helps to have a great coach. Nathan Goeks from The Legend at Bristlecone did an outstanding job with the boys this past season. He was so committed to the program and did everything possible to make it fun for the kids.
This is a great way to build confidence in the sport without the pressure.
My son had a really great time for his first year in the PGA Jr. League. He enjoyed all the different locations he got to play at and meeting others.
Our instructors were absolutely amazing. It was our first year and we will be back for more.
Get out on the course for practice and games
Team building and the kids having a blast! A nice break from individual tournaments.
Great coaching - awesome polo shirts! Wish there were more meets, however
The team aspect of golf.
My son loved it. Learned a lot, improved, and had fun.
It's fun to play on the golf course.
The ability for kids to learn aspects of team sports, working together with their peers, compete, but also instilling a love and enjoyment for the game of golf.
Team setting, format and having the chance to get out and play
Everything! We’re fortunate to work with the Beloit Club program, possibly the best in the state of WI. All tours, Junior Leagues, and the Drive, Chip, and Putt competition, are well organized, great communication, competitive, yet not over the top where it’s fun for the kids. It’s a perfect balance of instruction, competition, exposure, relationship and golf skill set building, and fun. Erika, Andy, and team are outstanding in WI. Simply an outstanding, affordable youth program for kids.
Amazing experience for my sons! They experienced golf on a whole new level with a great blend of support from coaches and parents coupled with real competition. Great program all around!
It was so much fun. I really enjoyed about everything about it.
The coaches made golf fun and enjoyable for the children with how they structured their lessons and how they approached skill development.
I liked that the matches required the team mates to talk to each other to decide as a team which ball approach they should take. I liked how they discussed which clubs they were using to take each shot and that at the end of each match they shook hands with the other team.
My kids LOVED having golf shirts with their names on back and I do not believe my son wore any other hat all summer. That is how excited he was to share with others.
We were at the driving range one evening and another mother saw the PGA Jr. tag on my children's bag. Her son, now an adult also participated in the PGA Jr. league. We made a connection and my children engaged with another family about a shared passion and all shared their enjoyment of the program and the game.
We enjoyed our first year. It was a fun introduction to competitive match play for my son.
My junior loves it. He loves the different courses and meeting new people. He loves Todd and the experience that comes with the. Pga!
Scott is fantastic. He made the program instructive, fun and challenging. Which allowed my older [very] competitive golfer to relax and have fun, and my 10-year old weekend warrior to fall in love with the sport regardless of his ability (or lack thereof).
It’s a great way to start learning how to match play. We love that the kids have to learn how to play on their own and make game time decisions during match play without the adults, but that adults are still there in the event of any issues. This helps kids to grow in independence in a safe environment.
My 2 12 year olds really enjoyed traveling to different courses and meeting new kids. Very well run.
It's a great program for kids, they learn so much from each other as well as their amazing coaches! My daughter also made some wonderful friends & we met some great parents!
Our Jr. League was run by Tony Pritchard and he did an outstanding job. Loved the instruction and the coaching that happened. Really enjoyed the courses that were played and loved the All Star event held at Hidden Glen. Overall it was a great experience.
Great experience. Great coach. Such an awesome league!
