Consumer Testimonials
I loved that all the courses were in the Madison area.
Enjoyed one match and one practice per week, very do-able.
Enjoyed organizational skills of Pleasant View's Jeremy Cabalka.
Thanks for a great summer!
Coach David Bach is a superstar coach growing the game of golf!
Great program!
Great coaches, fun, no pressure environment. My son's golf game improved very quickly.
Gives youth golfers chance to play with others same age and also learned some rules of the game
Our coach (Jeremy Cabalka) has been fantastic about engaging with our player, offering additional opportunities, and generally personifying the notion of a "coach".
Would love for the season to be a little longer, but we've loved being involved each of the past few years. Big fans.
Great introduction to the game of golf for kids! Everyone was welcoming and patient with my child, who was new to golf. It’s not only the golf lessons but the life lessons kids learn about teamwork, fair play and sportsmanship. Had a great experience all around.
Such a supportive environment. Kids get to have fun and not really stress about competition.
Great setup that doesn't put too much pressure on young kids, much like other club sports do. Keep it casual and fun while promoting competition in the best sport in the world! Thank you.
It's such a great opportunity for these kids to learn the game!
Great program
Like that they mixed up the age groups. Formed a team atmosphere.
It is a very positive environment for the kids, and really enjoyable for parents.
Amazing program!
It instills confidence and perseverance in the youth participants.
Very well done and a great league for kids.
Like the format. Keeps the kids engaged without putting too much pressure on them
I enjoy the ability to work with young golfers who are excited about golf. I love how it is structured and my players all strive to make the all star team as well. I find it very rewarding.
I would also like to offer a couple of suggestions:
I would like to see tee shirts included in the team kits for the players again so players could show support for the program anytime, not just at matches.
I also believe money could be saved if captain jerseys were no longer included. A possibility would be to offer one shirt for captains that included both team colors. I never wear my captain shirts because I run an in house league where we only play each other so I do not want to wear any certain color and appear to favor one team over another. Currently, I have 10 shirts that have never been worn. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
The PGA Jr league has been a great place for my son to develop his golf game in a fun and competitive atmosphere. Coach Mark Becker was great with the kids and always encouraged them and helped them develop a love of the game.
great way for kids to learn the game of golf in a friendly but competitive environment
My child improved his swing
My daughter enjoyed the PGA Jr. League. The moved her up according to her level which was great. We plan on signing her up next year.
Excellent
It was a good way to get my son into a more focused way to play
My son loved it! Such a great program and experience for kids.
My kids love Coach Scott at the MKE Parks Jr. League! He is so good with the Juniors and makes learning the game fun. Both of my boys look forward to playing because of his leadership. Junior League is something they look forward to each summer now.
I think that PGA Jr. League is a fantastic program that provides kids who are interested in learning to play an opportunity to do so. Having a match to attend each week gives the kids the opportunity to play and improve their game. They get to see other kids playing and learn in a fun, engaging environment.
Everything was very well organized. The kids got to play some very neat courses. The coach my son had, Tony Pritchard, is amazing with the kids and teaches them and me lots of things. I like the aspect of the best ball so they don’t get discouraged after one bad shot. All around great experience.
The culture, how Scott makes himself available for the kids that want extra help, and overall it's just a good vibe all around.
I signed my 7yo twins up for PGA Jr. League this summer at the recommendation of a friend. Although they started playing golf early, I had my reservations due to their age and abilities. The program not only improved their skills, but taught them invaluable lessons about competition and sportsmanship. Despite often being the youngest players on the course, they format of play allowed them to remain competitive and a great time was had by all. We will definitely enroll them next year.
