Great way to start playing golf

It was a great way to introduce golf to my son. In a non-high-pressure environment. The Pro at our club did a great job of communicating with the parents and teaching our kids how to play golf.
We loved playing the matches and learning with one another.

I think the league does a great job as an introduction to competitive but friendly golf. It teaches rules of the game and etiquette as well as sportsmanship. I think changing up the 'jersey's each year would be great as my son has been in the league a few years now and has 4-6 of the exact same jerseys and colors. The hat change has been good as well. I wish there was a spring and fall league option locally as well as golf is the only sport my son is interested in playing and a longer season would be fantastic.

The Jr. league has many great qualities to it. In general, it gets kids out of the house and off their computer products that have taken over their life. Also, kids get to meet new kids throughout the community. As far as golf is concerned, the golf program enables kids to learn critical life lessons. One, making their own decisions(parents are not allowed to chime into what they decide on the golf course). Two, the feeling of competition. Three, honestly(play the ball where it lies, dishonesty will only get you nowhere).

Team event, no pressure.
Casual and relaxed game environment was very welcoming to my son who was new to the game.
The league was well organized and offered a great introduction to competitive golf. We also appreciated the co-ed experience, the instruction from the PGA professionals and the ability to interact and play as a team in a very individual sport. We will be back again next season!
