Consumer Testimonials
Teaches the kids teamwork and etiquette. Fun and competitive atmosphere to get them started in golf.
The best ball format helps with kids confidence and fun.
Our coach via Chicago Highlands team (Kevin and Logan) were amazing.
Great way to learn the game of golf. I would like to see more instruction on game play on the course though. Not how to hit the ball like instructions, how to play and move through the game as they play.
my son had a great time, made friends and learned about the game of golf in a competitive but friendly environment
It was a great entry experience for my twelve year old son! Challenging and relaxed at the same time.
I like that my boys are getting lessons and then able to go play competitively and hone their skills
Amazing program that is great for all ages and skill levels. Shoutout to our pros at Arrowhead Country Club for their great work with the kids.
The 9 holes played weekly
Multiple practice options-if the same time didn’t work each week you could sign up for practice another time
We love every bit of it!
Playing as a team and with friends
The coaches for Aldeen were great and Jordan is so helpful!
My son had a great experience. He learned proper technique and we saw great improvement throughout the summer. We would do it again!
Great way to start playing golf
Coaches, venues and the parents
It was a great way to introduce golf to my son. In a non-high-pressure environment. The Pro at our club did a great job of communicating with the parents and teaching our kids how to play golf.
We loved playing the matches and learning with one another.
Great instruction and program. Got my 9 year old into golf! Now it is one of his favorite sports
PGA Jr League is a great developmental league for young golfers
Great program! My kids learned a ton and had a blast!
My son enjoyed it a lot
The teaching of golf done the right way and the team competition.
The friendly competition and opportunity to play a Variety of courses.
I think the league does a great job as an introduction to competitive but friendly golf. It teaches rules of the game and etiquette as well as sportsmanship. I think changing up the 'jersey's each year would be great as my son has been in the league a few years now and has 4-6 of the exact same jerseys and colors. The hat change has been good as well. I wish there was a spring and fall league option locally as well as golf is the only sport my son is interested in playing and a longer season would be fantastic.
Flexibility, not too serious, short matches
Teaming, meeting new golfers, learning more
Being able to play in a competition and with my friends. As well as being able to practice and compete with my friends.
The Jr. league has many great qualities to it. In general, it gets kids out of the house and off their computer products that have taken over their life. Also, kids get to meet new kids throughout the community. As far as golf is concerned, the golf program enables kids to learn critical life lessons. One, making their own decisions(parents are not allowed to chime into what they decide on the golf course). Two, the feeling of competition. Three, honestly(play the ball where it lies, dishonesty will only get you nowhere).
Thank you for having this program available to the kids of this community.
I love the friendly competition for the children. Even though they are technically competing, they don't feel like they are under pressure. It's a great introduction to tournament play.
