Scramble format builds good camaraderie, makes it fun for the kids, and builds enthusiasm for the game
It was a great learning experience for my young golfer who sometimes thinks he knows it all - it showed him to work with a team on the golf course to check shot approaches and aim. I even learned a few things as a spectator from the coaches!

Kids get to play in a scramble like format, so a bad shot is not really counted against them and they can focus on the next shot. Great for kids just getting into the game and keep them focused even if they are not playing their best that day.

This is an excellent way to get the kids away from the technology and outside. My grandson enjoyed meeting new people and improving his golf game!
Our club - Countryside in Mudeline- was fantastic! Alex and the coaches made it fun for all the golfers. They were also super inclusive to novice golfers. We have participated for many years and will continue to do so for all of our children.

PGA Jr. League is a great way to help our son continue his love of golf with other kids who love the game! The lessons help him apply new golf techniques to his game during the weekly matches.
Great opportunity for kids to get out and play in a competitive, but friendly, environment, more frequently than just the local Jr. Golf program allows.
I like the format, but I think it is specific to the location. We have had a great experience at Cantigny in Wheaton, IL, but the league at the Village Links in Glen Ellyn, IL is a different structure, and less organized.
