The focus on having fun and learning the game of golf
It is available for beginners and non-beginners. The coaches not only instruct in a group setting, but also one-on-one. This is an opportunity for kids to gain confidence in their skill level and in front of spectators.
I felt that it was a formal setting, but geared toward the younger age group. I appreciated how the players had the opportunity to compete in a realistic format, but with small adjustments which made it doable for them.
The ability of my son to play with others his age and the fact it is a very structured approach for kids.
There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like. My son had a blast and playing for Luke Bartel was a treat. We plan on signing up again next year!
My daughter has enjoyed the game. She is learning a lot and growing as a player and person. I wish there were more teams around, but it has been a pleasant experience.

Fun environment to learn about golf and improve
Our coach has been great! He is very patience and knowledgeable so the girls love to go to practices and matches. Everything has been organized and followed through. Information about the league is sent ahead of time so it is easy to plan and assist to practices/matches. Overall we are loving the experience at Bolingbrook Golf Club and specially with BJ as our coach!!
Like PGA Jr league provides full experience to children who are interested in golf.
The instruction and matches are great

Coach Yarc was great with teaching and sharing his expertise to help the golfers. The pace of matches and the rotation is a little long-slow sometimes but I like how everyone that wants to participate in the golf program can and all golfers have the opportunity to succeed. I hope my son will be playing again next season!

Organized approach and opportunity for kids to learn golf in a fun atmosphere with other kids.
This was my sons first year and we really wish we had found this at an early age for him. We loved how the coaches took extra time to show why and how to do things but also allowed a perfect balance to let the kids figure some things out on their own.

Focus on development of the kids.
We love the PGA Jr. League and will continue to participate in it. I just the season was a little longer and/or there were more matches. It is too short. It's like once the kids start getting the hang of it and start improving, it's over.
It’s a nice and fun format to introduce young golfers to the sport. Team play makes it fun and reduces the stress of each shot while making it a competition and way to learn the rules of play. Most courses were super accommodating to parents following. I have daughters in the sport. My Jr League player is less enthusiastic about golf, in part bc of that lack of other girls and that it ‘is boring’. We lucked out finding another well matched girl on her team and the format made it so fun for them. Need to keep bringing more girls to this!! I think her buddy aged out so hopeful I can get mine youngest to do this again. I loved it.

Our kids truly learned so much about golf techniques and etiquette and gained such a love for the sport. The program was so well structured and Brandon Evans and his crew were amazing teachers.
