I had not purchased a bike in many years. I was surprised to see how expensive they have become. The people at Freewheel did a wonderful job explaining to me the differences between the styles of bike to best fit me for my needs and for that price. They made recommendations and did not try at all to upsell me. I hate that and they were highly knowledgeable and patient with me making a decision. Then when I purchased my bike, they right there, in store put on for me the few other things I purchased for the bike, like a better seat and lights. At the purchase the gentleman told me about bike maintenance and the warranty and recommended things to do to the bike along the way. When I left, I did not feel as badly for the price, because I know I got a great product, but I also know it's backed by people that know their business very, very well and I felt comfortable asking questions and even test driving the bikes in the beginning. Freewheel I couldn't recommend any higher!!! A+++

Freewheel did a great job rebuilding my bicycle. The frame had busted. I particularly appreciated the replacement of worn parts and also the discount on labor after the original estimate of work needed was underestimated.

I visited my local Freewheel for chain lube and a new chain. My technician there welcomed me to the store, paused what he was doing and discussed chain management with me. We talked about chain wear, how to measure chain wear, and the best way to manage chains to minimize impact on rings and cassettes and maximize chain life. Who does that? Freewheel does that for their cycling customers, that’s who. Thank you!

I needed a star washer to install a fork. The tech that helped me was genuinely nice, and gave me a spare sacrificial bolt for installing it. It was a few cents on top of a $3 part, but just the act of wanting to help really shows the level of service you guys are putting out. I’ve been out of the bike scene for a few years, it’s nice to see Freewheel is putting out suck good service. Thanks!

Excellent customer service. Very responsive from the moment I walked in the door. I have another well known bike shop closer to my home but will drive the extra 5 miles to Freewheel because the service is so much better.
First time visitor to Freewheel. I was greeted quickly and my bike was inspected and a reasonable estimate was provided and the work needed was described. The bike was ready to go within a week. No surprises. I would recommend this bike shop.
