Love the Y and the new E gym programs.
Do not appreciate the unannounced aquatic audits. I drive from Conroe and disappointing to drive that far to find pool is closed. Frustrating.
Liked the Egym for the 1st time.

I love coming to the Y. I do , however, have one issue I can’t really get an answer to. Why is the TV in the room with the stationary recumbent bikes always on the Fox News cable network?
I think Fox supports everything that is counter to what the YMCA stands for. Fox encourages/supports those who espouse hate, derision, division, etc..
I am open to discussing this with anyone within the Houston YMCA hierarchy.

EGYM, line dance
The Shadowbend Y is probably the best workout facility as well as fittness educational facility as well as family oriented activities facility I've ever belonged to. I use the pool and the treadmill and the exerbikes and treadmill and weights mostly. While my family is grown now, if I were a parent today, I'd use it for my kids again for them as well.

Great instructors! A real community atmosphere.
like the quality of the instruction and caring atmosphere. In particular, i like the emphasis that Lisa Serice (sp?) puts on healthy safe exercise in her ballet classes.
I especially like the strength machines that are set up automatically to my personal needs. I like that it is welcoming to all ages. I like the range available- the classes, machines, pool... I like that it is a comfortable neighborhood type atmosphere.

I mainly use the exercise machines and love coming in to workout. The facility is extremely clean, the staff is friendly and a/c is great on hot days. I would highly recommend the Shadowbend YMCA to others. Thanks for a great experience.

I would love to see Debbie do more classes rather than Olga. I attend the Y 5 days a week so I don’t know if that counts for anything. I do not attend Olga’s classes but attend Diane’ balance class, Lian’s tai chi and yoga classes , Lori’s classes.

I love the variety of classes that I can take. I have connected with 1 instructor, Debbie P and take 4 classes from her
New equipment and plenty of activities to choose from.
I am new to the Y. I joined to use the pool for laps and swim every day.
It’s close to home, pool is great, access is easy and staff is welcoming and helpful.
I like the pool I enjoy the exercise the only thing that I find very very nasty is the spa it's never cleaned it has more mildew on scum it's disgusting if you go in it guaranteed to catch something. Staff are amazing except for tje young lifeguards who wanna where their swimsuits with all their bootie out but they do have excellent personalities.
Group exercises and Lunch & Learn

I like all of them. But need more pickleball availability in the gym. Also, need to have signs or instructions telling folks who use the eGym that if it is crowded, they should only do one set at a time and move to the next piece of equipment. Many people seem to think they can do three or more sets in a row.
I'm at the pool everyday for about 2 1/2 hours . I love the water aerobic classes with. Debbie and Andrea. The new instructor, Allison , I believe will be good. I'm in a group that plays cards on Game. Day. We have st much fun. I usually come to Bingo Bash. I try to participate in the programs Linda Edwards has. She is wonderful. I have met so many wonderful people through the YMCA.
