I'm not as excited about your customer service people and the hoops we have to jump through to GET the service tech here when I have a problem.....which hasn't been often.
I honestly think that you've gone overboard in ''verifying'' who your people are talking to. When I have a problem, the last thing I want or need to do is verify my birth date or my mothers maiden name or some other da** thing to get it fixed.

I called help-desk about a WiFi outage. They were able to see on their screen that there was a problem with the service and after having me look for the "box" in my house and read the label on it, they immediately put in a work order for a tech to come make a repair.
I expected to be waiting around for at least a couple hours, maybe even to the next day so I was surprised and pleased when I got a call from the tech within 15 minutes, saying he was on the way over. Within 15 minutes he had replaced a burned out circuit board in my equipment and my WiFi was up and going again.
High point of my day, I was also dealing with a flooded basement, broken sump-pump and needing internet for some work related duties. It was great how promptly they got someone out to get service restored for me.
From beginning to end, Things were handled courtesly and well by efficient and friendly people.
They answered all my questions and helped me understand the new technology I was being introduced to. I appreciated the support I was given.

Chris, the service agent in the field was very helpful. The technician who took my call was not as helpful. He told me I was there only one that was out, by this he gave me the impression that it was a problem on my end. Chris said there were many calls going to him and I should not hesitate to call if there is an issue.
