Instructor was excellent
The swim instructor is AMAZING with her teaching techniques, and working with the children in the class, which range in age, from 6 months to 2.5 year-olds.
Very personalized swim lessons with two kids per instructor.
The hours are good for me.
The variety of exercise machines.
Convenience, range of activities, facilities, friendly staff

The layout, hours and cleanliness
The pool and the many dedicated swim lanes and the ability to book them online
I live in Butchertown in Louisville but I come to the New Albany Y all the time. I find the New Albany Y to be the nicest of the Ys in the metro area. Over the years I've met very nice people and helpful staff at the New Albany Y. When the weather's nice, I can cycle the 8 miles from my home to the Y along the Southern Indiana Greenway bike trail.
Whitney Stiles, Dale Harris, spin classes, eGym, the other members, the River Run waterpark classes (such a great idea)!
I love the water aerobics program.
The warm pool and sauna are my favorites.
The helpful staff members and the best location and classes for me. I'm really wanting to start a Bible Study class (Free volunteer services), at this location, but not getting any answers/feedback from the Chaplain Mrs. Karen Ellis? I'm not needing any help or any of her assistances, just needing to know whom I can speak with at the New Albany, Floyd YMCA.
The employees
