Facility is well kept and well organized. There are new machines and the other machines are kept in good working condition.

I love the variety of ways to improve my health. I love the water classes and also the new EGYM. It lets me improve at my rate. The people you meet along the way, whether they are employees of the Y or other members, become faces you look forward to seeing when you go there. The Floyd County Y seems to be very social. There is always something going on to spike an interest and encourage participation.
Everyone is so friendly and they keep the equipment clean and if someone doesn’t they always keep plenty for everyone to access and use. I haven’t been going that long but I’m really looking forward to continuing my visits to the Y.

The instructors (Megan, Sara J. Sharon W) at the Floyd YMCA go above and beyond — they make fitness fun, safe, and inspiring for all levels.
Great place to get fit! Good for family and for yourself
Our little swimmer is doing great! Aaron has been his instructor for the last three sessions and it has been a wonderful experience. Sebastian has learned the basic skill and has advanced to the next level. I feel that the student / instructor ratio is very balanced. The students can learn individually and in the group setting.

Facility
Aaron is a great teacher.
Very patient with my child while also challenging him and teaching him in a fun, age appropriate environment.
I love that this facility truly includes the whole family in being happy and healthy. Everyone is so friendly. We had 3 generations signed up together. We can all support each other in being healthy. Floyd County is fortunate to have such a great facility!
