I arrived at the bike sale Sunday around 12:30 planning to look around and see what is available but not make an immediate purchase. The bicycle I had is more than ten years old but is still working.
I found a green Serotta TI54L for $1,200. The employee outside Dan answered my questions and told me it was made from Titanium and the company had suspended operations in 2013 and that this model was probably from then.
As I did not have cleats and shoes matching the bicycle I went in and got them. The young employee's name was Michael and he was very helpful. I bought the Yahoo cleats thinking I could see if they fit my existing clip ons. I still had some questions about this and Michael had a very experienced manager come over and answer questions, giving me information about the condition, tires, cassette and background about the bicycle.
I asked Dan some more questions principally about whether the bicycle fit and he looked it up on his phone. I was impressed by the quality of customer service, the patience and courtesy shown to other customers. Given my height of 5'9" it was a good fit and I purchased the bicycle.
I subsequently bought shoes that fit the cleats in Westborough and was able to ride the bicycle that day.
I am very glad I made the 40 mile trip to Norwood and to have my new bicycle and plan to turn over a new leaf and maintain it as the first owner. I am quite impressed with Landry's
We buy our bikes at papa wheelies but love the bike we bought at the bike sale.
My neighbor Kat works at landrys in Natick too.

The only thing I thought that would be helpful is a door that opens automatically coming into the store.
Store is spacious and not overly cluttered with bike paraphernalia which is nice.

The Team at Norwood on Sunday, July 30, was over-the-top helpful, servicing my R5 and then my unplanned new bike purchase; the service manager, Brendan, was so helpful in getting me set up and leaving with my new Parlee RX7! Brendan stayed after closing to get the bike done. The store manager Hannah who has always supported my bike journey, and Doug helped ring up my new bike with the young man who asked me if I wanted to ride the bike :). So glad I took him up on the offer to ride.

The service is excellent
I was there for the annual sale, the people were very friendly and everything was orderly. The bike I purchased for my child need air and I got assistance with that and a swat adjustment. The experience was vey pleasant.

Customer service was great. I do wish there was a tiered option - I brought a bike over for assembly and the bike cost $250 and Landry's wanted $130 to assemble.
Staff is friendly and knowledgable.
The used bike sale showed the power of the cycling community that Landry's cultivates and supports. I am a Landry's Braintree customer and enjoyed seeing the shop and team in Norwood. We're so lucky to have such a great bicycle shop working across the Greater-Boston region, and my two young and growing girls are thrilled to have upgrades on their wheels!
