I had gotten an oil change and wasn’t aware of the service was going to be done and got charged for it. My oil change always as been charged $62.00 dollars and I had gotten charged for $90.78 for an oil change. It’s ridiculous.
I told them straight up I did not know why my check engine light was on. They said they would fix the problem and they did within the hour!
I didn’t wait for long time.

There was no waiting, and the service was great.
The employees were attentive to their job and very polite. My car service was taken care of in a timely fashion. Kudos on a job well done!
I paid $44.18 for an oil change in August and $79.92 in November. The price basically doubled over three months and I'm frustrated that the excuse is always the customer being told everything is more expensive now. I'm tired of everything being more expensive because businesses are greedy and don't want to make an effort to keep costs more affordable. There are more affordable options elsewhere.
Predatory pricing. Never have used JL before and never will again.
I got a full synthetic oil change. I had an online coupon for 25 off which was apparently a corp coupon, not specific to the West street Annapolis MD store.
When I was greeted by Blake when I pulled in (prior to even getting out of my car) I informed him what service level I wanted and that I had a coupon. I even extended my phone to him to show him. He made a noticeable attempt to not view my phone which I thought was interesting.
I then went into the waiting room and was called up to review your recommendations after you had been under the hood for 5 minutes (very fast which I was happy to see).
I again selected full synthetic and attempted to show my coupon. The tech (whose name I forgot) again told me now was not the time for that “part of the transaction” and that after they were done they would go over payment, coupons etc.
I also mentioned to Ricci (spelling? And I assumed manager) while I waited of my coupon who had no interest and just told me to sit and wait - there will be a time for that…respectfully…
About 10 mins later when complete I went to register to pay. At that point I was informed by staff member (also one of the managers according to him) that my coupon was a corp coupon and could not be applied. Honestly I was sort of expecting this.
He also told me that they knew very little about any coupons but when pressed told me there may be other store coupons if I did a quick google search.
I did this slowly while standing in line and it was amazing how artfully he guided me through the google search and ultimately the local Annapolis web site to find a $10 coupon and had a tremendous knowledge of the exact 8 different coupons at that location.
At that point I felt completely taken advantage of. When I pressed further to get 25 vs 10 he mentioned he needed codes, it was out of his hands etc. Meanwhile, all the different JL personnel who I had talked with during the process had gathered at the register to collectively defend thier actions. It was like I brought a knife to a gun fight and you know how that works out in the end so I accepted an offer of $15 off to just end the discussion and go away.
I still spent over $100 for a simple oil change and while I was leaving the manager - who was talking to no one in particular- said “we can’t just be givin out $25 coupons” this time very disrespectfully. ….
The unfortunate part is the actual was very quick and efficient. I was impressed which is usually hard to do..
You may have perfected the 15 min oil change - but what you have perfected even better is the art of the scam. Unfortunately to the wrong guy. Next letter is to the BBB and local media.

Your Jiffy Lube website for the Altoona location clearly states that you accomplish the Pennsylvania State Inspections, but you do NOT. This is essentially false advertising. If you do not currently do the state inspections, you should NOT advertise that you do.
Courteous and helpful staff, top off policy, complimentary coffee.

I enjoy how I always receive a warn and professional greeting at the door. When the Jiffy Lube team gives me my keys back, my car performs more efficiently than when I walked in. My favorite feature at Jiffy Lube is how fast they work. Jiffy Lube rocks like Prince. Thank you 😊 💓
The manager Lou takes excellent care of me & gave me a great discount. He is very personable & friendly. He is one of the reasons I keep going back. I've been going to this Jiffy Lube for about 30 years & I take all my cars there for service.
