I love the Fort Monroe Y. Jane is the best yoga instructor around. Her knowledge base far exceeds the normal instructor. The facility is always clean and welcoming.
I had a preliminary assessment meeting with Daniela Bowen, and I think she is wonderful! I have scheduled some personal training sessions with her and I'm really looking forward to working with her.

It's just so comforting to walk in and see all the happy, smiling faces! I absolutely love Traci Ford's class Body Design every Tuesday and Thursday and always make every effort to make sure I attend. She works every body part, works on balance and posture too. AND is always introducing us to something new. She keeps everyone motivated!
The water classes are great! The instructors are excellent and the class sizes are terrific!
The facility is light and the people friendly. the facility is filled with all kinds of equipment and has everything that I would want or need to help my fitness goals.
My own health and wellness are greatly supported by my active exercise in the warm water swimming pool! Unfortunately for me personally I can not use the large exercise space or any of the exercise equipment. I have a severe allergy to petroleum products and the flooring in this exercise space is petroleum based.
Friendly staff, clean facility
The Northumberland YMCA meets every need I could possibly have for maintaining my health and well-being as I approach my 65th birthday. I couldn't be more pleased with the facility or the staff who are uniformly wonderful. I'm a big fan.

The Y is properly outfitted with plenty of equipment and exercise rooms to facilitate a variety of workout routines. It has become one of my favorite activities during the week.
The lifeguard was so sweet and encouraging when my kid was hesitant to attempt the deep water swim test. She even turned on the splash pad for my little. (Caucasian, short hair/shoulder length)
