Nice people, everything is always clean and functional, seldom wait for machines, courteous customers and staff.
My boys love camp. I’m confused about the food though. One said it was never enough and another said there were a lot of leftovers. I wish they had the option to stay for continuous weeks without leaving.
Family community plenty of space to work out the atmosphere is very peaceful, congested, and all the staff are warm and helpful. Definitely someone else very likely to give me a membership once my free pass expires

My daughter really enjoyed her time a Camp Kekoka. This is her second season attending and her favorite part is the friendly, upbeat camp counselors there.
There is one element that she has brought up since returning, and it is one that she has said other campers observed as well. According to her, there is a woman who is a benefactor of the camp and several of her grandchildren attend the camp. Those grandchildren have told other campers that they get to attend camp for free because of who their grandmother is. Additionally, they have received special packages from their grandmother, who delivered them directly, mid-week. In general, the message delivered to other campers was that these kids are special and deserve treatment above and beyond a normal camper.
As this is a YMCA camp, I honestly am surprised to hear that nepotism like this is allowed at camp. Kids attend from all walks of life and camp should be a place where everyone is treated equally regardless of their family situation. I hope that you consider revising camp policies to emphasize that the rules apply to everyone and that equal treatment is a key value. I think that will be important to having campers return year after year. Thank you.
I mainly use the pool, but it is always a pleasant experience visiting the Y--the staff are friendly and helpful and so are the members.
I am a regular at your Y. my wife has to play the community puzzle before her workout every time we come in. The staff is always friendly. If you could just stop the older people from thinking the community spray bottles are theirs and take them that would be great,
I love this facility. You’ll need to upgrade the rest of the facilities on the peninsula to mirror this facility!

I love the pool there. I do Aqua Zumba with Sobi and love the pool there. My grandsons take swimming lessons there, too.
The wonderful pool
All of the morning YMCA desk workers are so kind and happy to be around. I love being at the Y in the early morning hours.
I use the weight equipment in the am and have been able to navigate around what I want to use each morning. However, there is never enough floor space to stretch in the main weight room. My gym partner and I often use the cycling room to stretch but wish the group exercise room was open for stretching and meditation when classes are not running.

Amazing staff and a welcoming environment
The instructors were so kind and patient with every kid, and especially mine who has some special social needs. The quality of the lessons was good as well. My only recommendation would be to make the classes a bit smaller for more instruction per child, but I understand why that might not be practical.
