The Ft Monroe gym is nearby, meticulously clean, and well maintained. The equipment is well maintained and functional.
The indoor pool where I do my own version of water aerobics at 8am 6 days a week. It is great to have this facility near my home.
The staff is friendly, the facility is clean and I like the classes. I just wish there would be some more water aerobics offered around 10a or 11a.
The wonderful environment of being part of having fun meeting other families fulfilling my purpose all while feeling safe in a very clean andwell organized environment

The employees and members are kind and good fun.
Great workout environment in a beautiful setting to combine with a long walk.
The Fort Monroe YMCA is perfect for older members; it’s not crowded like the Y at LaSalle, and one can easily get assistance from an employee/ trainer. It has ample parking and good programs.
Friendly personnel, reasonable price (except for guest pass), well maintained equipment, clean facility.
The Ft Monroe YMCA is a very chill workout experience in a beautiful historic building in a historic neighborhood.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good classes which challenge me.
Everything
Friendly atmosphere and great staff
Great staff, good variety of classes, clean and welcoming
Convenient, efficient, modern and great equipment. Staff is always friendly, greta location
Friendly staff. Extremely frustrating, though, that commercial TV doesn't work so often on ellipticals and some treadmills. Often I have to try several before I can find one of each without a blank screen, or the dreaded "No Signal" or Failed to Change Channel." This had been a recurring problem for too long, and often I think about dropping my membership because of it.
I like the exercises routines and the program
The availability of the Treadmills and weight room, friendships with other exercisers and the personnel who run the Y. The closeness to my home and the 24- hour available opening.
The cool temperature at 66 degrees in main equipment area, and great air circulation, made for a very comfortable workout and better breathing.
I love taking swimming lessons there!
It's part of the community and also a historic treasure
Consistently great folks working at Victory Y. I've been with my trainer Ana for 2 years and has helped so much.
The facilities are always spotless and I feel comfortable training along side of folks both older and younger than me. Highly recommend!!
I haven't actually used the YMCA yet, but the joining process was easy and Shannon was delightful. She explained everything to me and took me on a tour of the facility. Looking forward to taking my first class!!
Great we love coming:)
It is close and I like the pool and available classes
