I think biggest problem is that people do not know what other bike shops have. I.E. I hear people at work speaking about BikeLab and saying they are the only place that offers professional bike fitting. Customer base for OKC bike shops is all grown with ill-informed word of mouth.
Don't know if there is a way to improve that w/out advertisement .. and I see schlegel's advertisements the most (race suffers). Just food for thought.

Schlegel Bicycles has great products, great service, great prices and the best staff. Everyone in shop rides a bike, they provide expert advice and can get newbies to experts set up to ride with one of the regular weekly rides. Custom orders are handled with ease. They are clearly the best bicycle shop in Oklahoma!
I like the professional advice Steve's employees give me regarding products and services. If I'm on a budget, they can recommend which services I need right now and which can be delayed. I also love their frequent sale discounts on products I'm looking to buy in the future. I trust them that the repairs they perform are also done right. Yes you can buy stuff on line for a little less but that Bontrager 30 day guarantee if you don't like it is sweet.

Prices were competitive. Mainly go-to a bike shop on the North side because it's closer to home. Plan in bringing my Specialized Allez into Schlegals for a full tune up soon!
