Great customer service. Nice to not walk in and feel like you are being spoken to like a little girl - being female and not hugely knowledgeable about bikes speaking to mechanics can be a bit off putting in other bike shops, but the Pearson staff are always friendly and patient in explaining and have a laugh with customers rather than just rolling their eyes. I think their patience was really demonstrated when I was in the shop the other day, listening to a slightly unfit looking man in expensive kit loudly booming away about his cycling prowess and the team politely paying attention throughout in a way I don't think I could have!
On a more sensible note I really value the between-service-service. When I pop in to the shop between needing more substantial bits of work doing I consistently find someone is happy to help and give a bit of advice (e.g. when I have tried to tune my gears and just made it worse or can't work out what is rattling or which kind of greasy stuff I need). This means I will always come back to Pearson and recommend to others.
Also helpful that you always call before you start work on a bike so I can talk about options and have an idea of costs. :)
Staff so helpful and honest, they listened and at no point did I feel patronised - I love to cycle but am rubbish at the maintenance!

Wouldn’t go anywhere else
Came in to get the guys to look at the wheels on the objects in motion I purchased last year. After a lot of struggle they managed to get the bearing that was shot, out from the front wheel something even with all the tools at home not sure I could have done. Also took a look at the back wheel and had a plan to secure the cassette.

Great knowledgeable service
Staff are great, knowledgeable, and most importantly, actually have a passion for what they sell. Red headed chap and I spoke at length about the possibility of a broken toe, pedals, and made what could have been a lengthy credit agreement process actually rather enjoyable.
The staff of the Sutton branch are excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable and do not try to sell equipment etc that isn’t needed. Have bought s few bikes from them for my kids and will continue Elton do so. They always make the buying experience a pleasure and the after sales care also excellent.

Regarding the product such as tires and other components, they are more expensive than on easily available online store such as Sigma, it would be great to see a price realignment.
The team was very helpful and made every effort to fit me in and help me on a tight deadline.

Everyone at Pearson is incredibly friendly, knowledgable and helpful. They always have what I need in stock, have mended my bike while I shop at Waitrose and on a few occasions have done things without charging - like fixing my D lock on my bike. I'm a big fan. Also great coffee and Lucy is fab!
I always get a great service from Jim and the guys. You get what you pay for with an independent cycle shop, not like those big chain ones that sell you a bike but not actually sure what there selling you!!
