Danny James was absolutely super knowledgeable and very outgoing and friendly in helping us choose our new Electra Townie 5i E bikes. Great follow up on any questions. Actually had bikes assembled from inventory for us to look at and demonstrate and called the next day when the bikes were ready. Your store has the best selection of everything sports!

We really liked the store in general and while our salesperson was extremely nice, she wasn't as knowledgeable about the product we were looking for (Trek e-bikes) as we hoped. We had looked at the same bikes at a different store and had some basis of knowledge due to a very informed salesperson. When we came to Idaho Mountain Touring we started to consider higher models and asked for the differences between them she didn't seem as informed, mainly just pointed out obvious things like the fenders, lights, etc. We were not told anything about the structure or the differences in the motors. There is a lot of equipment in your store so I'm sure it takes a long time to learn about every product.
When we did the pick-up, the two gentlemen that helped us were great and very knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend your store and would purchase from there again.

Brian and Hannah helped our family with our first mountain bike purchase. They were both very kind, patient, thorough and knowledgeable. They took the time to understand how we would be using our bikes, and then made several recommendations to get us fitted into the best bikes for us.
When we picked up our bikes the highly level of customer service continued, again taking the time to explain their new biker program, and even helping set up our truck for the bikes.

I went to a lot of bike shops and looked at all different brands of mountain bikes. I am a heavier than normal rider, and every shop just gave me a bike as is off the floor and let me ride it outside. None of the suspension on those bikes, or the seat height was adjusted for my height and weight. Idaho Mountain Touring was the ONLY shop that set the bike up exactly for me before letting me test ride it. The other companies bikes I rode all felt too soft and therefore didn't leave me with a good impression, but the Trek I tested at IMT felt great, and I was able to get an actual test ride in and see how it really feels. That was a major selling point to me.

I purchased a Electra Cruiser 7D men's bike by phone. I was lucky to find the bike, since they are in high demand. I was able to locate a Women's Electra Townie 7 locally.
Your sales staff was very accommodating over the phone & friendly.
I made the purchase site unseen, since I was calling long distance from Wash. State.
Our friends who live in Middleton picked up the bike a couple of days later after Brian Dickinson checked the bike over & added slime sealer.
