My boys love going to the school and the instructors are all super nice and explain how to improve but when a parents says their child is bored and needs to move up, you should listen. I fought for over a month to get my son to the next level.
As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the two front desk girls or employees who are super friendly and welcoming. The school is kept clean. Every single time that I have been there it has always been really clean. The instructors are excellent with the children, I love that they report to you after every class on your child's progress. My daughter loves her instructors and looks forward to her swimming lessons every week.

The instructors go above and beyond to ensure each child receives quality instruction.
My child had previously participated in community education swim lessons because they were affordable and time limited. However, the instruction was not very robust, my child didn’t learn and retain new skills. This child loves the water and asked for swimming lessons as soon as the weather warmed up in the spring. Instead of waiting for Community Ed to open, then to fight for a spot, since it fills up so quickly, I decided to try Aqua-Tots, for a guaranteed spot, because it’s close to our home. One friend had mentioned their child liked it, others had mentioned other swim schools, but the location is truly what initially brought us to Aqua-Tots. Now I LOVE the small size of the pool and the viewing area right outside the glass walls enclosing the pool. I truly appreciate the updates from the instructor after every lesson, and I can clearly see with my own eyes the skills my child is learning! The instructor seems well trained and enthusiastic about this work. The desk staff are helpful when I have questions or need to reschedule. I didn’t even know there was an app until after several months here, and it seems pretty slick to cancel sessions and schedule make ups, though I haven’t had an opportunity to use these features yet. Cost is the only “downside,” if I should even call it that. Aqua-Tots’ monthly fee is approximately what was paid for an entire 8-week session of Comm Ed swim lessons. HOWEVER, the confidence and skills gained here are well worth the price, and even a great value! I have already recommended Aqua-Tots to several friends, so I’m anxious to hear if they will sign up.
Elijah works so well with my son, he LOVES coming to swimming and shows a little more progress each week. We also appreciate how responsive the Aqua Tots team is if scheduling conflicts arise!

Classes and facility is great
In the short time that Kam has been taking lessons he has showed improvement with in every class. Each time we attend a class it further confirms that I made the best decision for him by choosing Aqua Tots. Your concierge type service when we attend our first class, your personable and great instructors, your always clean facilities are all things we love and appreciate.
We’ve had only great experiences so far, and we appreciate the flexibility with scheduling, as well as classes at times we can attend!
My 2 kids have been enjoying their Aqua Tots journey for 3 years now. We have had a a positive experience with team members as they have always been friendly and helpful. We thank Bianca who always helps resolve when there has been any issues. We also thank Shantell the business owner for the help and opportunity she offer my family to resolve an issue we were having.
Coaches are all great as they always give feedback on how our kids did and what they need to work on at the end of each session. Many thanks to Coaches Alexia, Will & Maya for their dedication. We thank the coaches who have worked with my autistic son 1:1 like Coach Ethan and coach Jared who is always attentive, encouraging and caring as he truly wants to see my son succeed offering his teaching techniques, patience and encouragement making the class fun as he learns.
The facility is clean and organize. There is plenty of seating area to watch your children. There is plenty of changing areas, swimsuit/hair dryers, toiletries and more.
Aqua tots organizes holiday events, have coloring pages and lollipops at the counter for kids, snacks and swimming items available for purchase. Great location as they have plenty of parking space, stores and food places for after/before class.
My family continues to be impressed with the coaches, front desk staff, and general manager at the Matthews location. My children look forward to their classes and are building confidence and skills that will last a lifetime.

Satisfactory with instructors, facilities and management
Nice friendly teachers and staff. I do wish there more handheld shower heads. There's only one and there's always several classes ending at the same time which we are all waiting for especially for the little ones levels 1 - 4. There's often been a line of 5 or more waiting for it. It would also be nice if after the rush of every class, the rooms would be mopped dry. The changing floor rooms are wet with puddles. I totally get it, swim school = water but being more precautious would be nice.
My daughter is excited to go to class, and even though she’s taking awhile to calm down and focus, the instructor and staff have been very patient with her

My daughter Bella has been attending here for over a year and the instructors have been wonderful and very accommodating to her learning style since she has Autism. Recently I enrolled my son Oliver and his highlight to the week is Thursday’s when he has swim class. Oliver has really taken to Yusuf, who works the front desk and Yusuf is very patient and friendly with Oliver demanding his attention to show him his toys. Wonderful facility and great staff.
