I specifically come to the Decatur Y primarily to use the exercise facilities. I like the variety of equipment and the layout of the weight room.

All the activities are great . They start on time love this facility
The gymnastics teachers and child care staff are lovely and patent with the children.
The workout areas, and the wet areas, but they stay down often. All 3 locations that I go to either had the hot tub, steam room down, sauna, or even more than one over the last three months. Also, THE SNAPFINGER LOCATION DESPERATELY NEEDS TO BE REOPENED IN THE NEAR FUTURE! THANK U. Can you get an update?
So many programs and classes to choose from with helpful staff and clean facility.
Variety in the type of class and availability .skilled and friendly coaches…and wonderful people at the front desk who give a friendly welcome as soon as I walk through the doors. I tried another place last year because a friend encouraged me to go with her…after 2 months I returned. The Y is my home

I love the availability of gym equipment compared to some of the other Ys. There’s enough available for more than one person to be doing the same sort of exercise.
New exercise equipment is great! Workout area is well set-up without clutter. Friendly front desk staff!

All the Instructors I have met at the Y have been very gracious supportive and skilled. But it’s also the other participants that are friendly and welcoming. And it just seems to be very well run at the Decatur Family Y. I’m really enjoying exploring the different classes and options, and I never feel awkward or goofy! Thank you for a great way to stay active!

I was excited about Decatur Y because of the help and conversation we had the whole time I was there. I didn't get at East Lake no one ask me can I help you. And I went 3 days with no help no one came to me like too see if I needed help. Thank you Decatur Y thats the why it should be.
