I love the pool at Decatur YMCA! It has recently become more difficult to book a lane. I don’t understand having an open lane that can not be booked.
Hours, availability of weights, cardio machines

I am so grateful for the opportunity to have Andre as my weekly cycling coach. He is the reason that I drive to the Decatur Y on Sunday mornings and participate in his cycling class. Andre makes every cycling class fun and challenging -- with his engaging playlists, worthwhile workouts, and encouraging attitude. He creates a welcoming atmosphere in his class -- in short, he is a role model of the values of the Y.
Love the classes, cleanliness and community. I do hope for more variation of classes with more time slots available in the near future.
Cycling programs are good. I have not tried any other programs yet. Hope to do so soon.
I've only been one time. I enjoyed the Pilates class and appreciate the teaching style of the instructor, Linda Fitzgerald.

I wish the pool had more lanes however, the cycle classes are great.
I like this particular facility because of the staff and how the facility looks. When I have been there things seem to run really smooth and the staff is always ready to help.
Facility is great. I lift weights and swim. It's great having those activates available in such a nice facility.
Downside: it seems to be taking in inordinately long time to get the online pool registration system flaws corrected. The system is still a little hinky. Hard for some of us to understand why it's taking so long to fix. I like being able to use it; just wish it was at 100% reliability.

Dropped in for a quick shower after my tennis match. The faculty and staff were courteous and welcoming!

Jenn Mayo's classes for seniors are so important to me. She makes exercise fun. The whole environment at the Y is really supportive.

Great instructors. I only do group classes and I especially appreciate Julia, Jen, and Alekz.
Is there any way you could add Y Body Burn, Dance Party, or Senior Strength & Cardio on Friday mornings?
Your locker room is kept clean. I would ask that the soap dispensers in the showers be checked a little more often; sometimes they are empty and I only find that out after I've begun the shower.
