My son really enjoys using the weight room with friends when he's in town. He visited regularly while in high school, but he has since left for college. You definitely can't beat the convenience.
I also want to mention how much I appreciated Darvin Prince's willingness to help by processing a cancellation quickly after being out of the office. It didn't occur to me that I needed to arrange for cancellation at the same time I reactivated my son's membership for Holiday Break. Thank you again, Darvin, for your help and understanding!

Classes are very helpful and the aquatic area is great.
Love the aerobic recumbent bikes.
Also love the great staff, some of whom go back 12+ years when I joined the Y and the Y offered the ‘Couch Approach’ program. I occasionally get advice from my former coach!🙂
I have recently re-joined and like the new equipment and group exercise options. My only wish is for a salt water pool. The staff are super friendly and helpful.
I like what the Decatur Y has to offer. I believe that there is room for a least two piece of equipment in the free weight area some latitude of strength training

At this time, I only use the gym. Patrons and staff are polite and friendly. The gym is exceptionally clean and the equipment is in great condition. Much of it is newly installed. A goid place to be.

Candidly I don’t really engage in the programs / activities! I just appreciate the Y’s facilities and kind staff when using the gym upstairs / occasionally the pool.
