From my initial phone call, to the follow up after the delivery of my belongings - it has been a wonderful experience.
Francis with QMM was the first person I contacted. I was in a bit of sticker shock when he gave me the first quote, but he was very pleasant to talk to, knowledgeable, and transparent about pricing. He was also very understanding when I decided it just wouldn't be worth it to send so few items and pay that amount. There was no sales pitch or pressure that followed, which I really appreciated.
This was an emotional transaction for me, as I had just lost my mom, and there were items very special to me that I did not want to give/donate. I was certain that there must be a cheaper way to move these items from Alberta to North Carolina.
I contacted nearly a dozen different moving companies to get quotes and information about cross-border moves. There were lower quotes and other shipping options that might have saved some money, but none that I was comfortable with. The more companies I called, the more I learned about what was involved. A lot can go wrong with a transborder move, which could end up costing a LOT more, in the long run. Many companies were not upfront about several charges I would have ultimately been "surprised" with upon receiving my belongings. I went with my "gut - intuition" and called Francis back and scheduled the move, now with double the amount of items to be shipped.
Lorraine took over at that point and was amazing with communication from start to finish. She made what I would consider to be a very complicated process - extremely smooth and easy. The movers showed up on time for pickup, and delivery was within the window specified. Upon receiving my items, I noticed many of the furniture items had been more securely protected for the long journey.
I am beyond impressed and cannot recommend this company enough. There were no surprises throughout any part of the process...other than how incredibly smooth it all went!! Thank you all so much - I am beyond grateful to have my mom and dad's belongings with me now, in my own home.
QMM team were more than I could have asked for. From first contact through to the last box unpacked, they were responsive, professional and took great care of us and our stuff. It can be really hard to know who to trust with movers, but you can trust QMM. I couldn’t recommend them more.

The crew who picked up my belongings in Hastings Ontario were absolutely FANTASTIC
as we're the crew who delivered my belongings to SPRUCE GROVE .
Have used othe companies to move in the past but these guys are 100 % better friendlier
did not complain about taking boxes into the basement even offered to relocate anything if I had them put it in the wrong place.Super polite and made sure mats were on the carpet and flooring before they walked on it. One guy even took his shoes off every time he came into the house.
What more can you ask for. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Aiden and Lubna were terrific facilitators for my housing journey from the Chicago area to Calgary. They answered all questions promptly, were very professional and always helpful. The QMM support team was great too. They made a stressful time very manageable and pleasant. Thank you!
The three key people with whom I interacted were all very helpful, professional and friendly. The process of generating the estimate was thorough and accurate. The program QMM uses generated a comprehensive list of the contents of our house which I could then double check to make sure I had not missed anything. This gave me confidence in the accuracy of the estimate and was a major factor in choosing them. We ended up taking some things in our car and left a couple of things behind so had the happy experience of the final bill being less than the estimate.
All of the communication with QMM staff was quick and clear. When one person was off or I emailed outside of their office hours, someone else answered.
The actual moving of our belongings went extremely smoothly. The only stress I experienced was having nothing to do while the crew expertly moved everything. They were all courteous and even a bit fun. The driver was clearly experienced and on top of everything. It’s hard to imagine that the move could have gone any better.

My possessions traveled a long way and only one item was damaged. Packaging was incredible and when they arrived, someone met me at Customs for clearing. I will definitely used QMM in future.
The team were very organised in all aspects - quoting, packing, timing and efficiency. They did a great job with no damage to the house or the equipment. Very happy!

Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful
This was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The estimate process was made easy with a video walkthrough. The Coordinator was readily available any time I contacted her. The Driver reached out right away and was also readily available. On the day of the move, the Load Team was a well oiled machine and a wonder to watch. This was a cross border move and it was clearly communicated via the Coordinator and the Driver the steps we needed to take to clear the contents through customs. We could not be happier and will recommend them to anyone we know that is moving. Well done Team.

At both ends the packers and unpackers did an incredible job. The furniture and breakable items were well packed and wrapped, so everything arrived in excellent condition...almost. Through no fault of theirs, unfortunately the tv cabinet had a door ripped off and gouges made on the top while in the storage facility for two months. But dealings with the Claims Mgr to this point have me anticipating a hassle-free resolving of this issue.

The crew and office staff were extremely helpful from beginning to end with my recent move from Mississauga to Waterloo. They were polite, efficient and professional in everything they did. I highly recommend Quality Move Management to anyone who wants a company who is responsible and dependable.
The movers were efficient and friendly at both ends. Nothing was lost. There was only some minor damage to a piece of furniture but it is repairable. The process was generally smooth from our perspective.
On the flip side, we had an issue with QMM, following the advice of their Belgian contact to delay the shipping until after we were officially registered as Belgian residents. We were returning citizens, we had a temporary address in Belgium for administrative purposes, QMM had all our stuff, and the risk, if any, was ours. Because of this 10-day delay, the container arrived in Antwerp on the Friday before the July long week-end in Belgium, hence C$ 480 in demurrage fees.
Right from the beginning meeting with Heather, the professionalism and organization was excellent. Lubna was wonderful to work with, answered all of my questions, and kept me up to date with all information I needed. The moving teams both in Vancouver, which was Jamie, and in Regina which was Nick were outstanding. They were friendly, highly organized and efficient.

The team were simply amazing from start to finish. Aidan and Lorraine were fantastic during the planning phase, while Trevor, Spencer and their teams were true professionals when it came to loading, moving and unloading. No doubt there were countless others helping behind the scenes. We were delighted with the quality of the service throughout!
They made a very complicated process very smooth. Provided lots of support with all aspects of cross-border moving, all the customs and car issues. And the on-site mover, Sam, was fantastic.
Everyone involved in all steps of my move were fantastic to deal with, from the virtual quote all the way to delivery day at the final destination! I was very nervous, as a family member had a nightmare move a few years ago with a different company. It was hard for me to trust someone with all of my precious belongings. They helped me and reassured me along the way, never once made me feel unimportant or brushed me off. The movers were respectful and treated my stuff with care. Everything arrived safely and was exactly the same as when they packed it up. I would definitely recommend and use them again, I just hope I don’t have to move again ever.
