I feel very comfortable because of the diversity I see at the Y. I am not a "gym person" and I feel very accepted and normal at the Y.
Great Barre, Pilates. Yoga and other group classes!
The staff is Awesome!!! Great Job Austin YMCA!!
I come to the YMCA only for the classes of Hatha Yoga and Gentle Hatha Yoga. They are perfect for seniors, and I couldn't keep going without them.
I like the yoga teachers. They keep the facility clean.

I love body pump!! Angela is sooo amazing and makes me want to come back again and again and again. Angela is so fun, enthusiastic and explains things well and not nit picky like other instructors. I don’t go to Pilates with Elizabeth because she is very snooty & pretentious and makes it seem like you aren’t doing the exercise right and going to injur yourself if you just don’t have the flexibility. She just has her favorite old timers and is throws shade to everyone else. Also Pilates with Teresa is amazing! Love her! I wish she had after/before work options. I would love if y’all brought CX works !
The instructors are amazing. I live Crystal’s Zumba classes because they are low pressure, high fun, all ages and all types of people.
I have also always enjoyed all the Zumba classes and yoga classes.
I have never met a person that I dislike at the YMCA, and additionally the facilities are always spotless, and the staff is always very friendly and helpful.
Great staff, it is always nice to get a smile and hello early in the morning!
It's not too crowded and I never feel weird exercising in front of others there.
I love the fact that there is a strong emphasis on inclusivity. Children nowadays are acustomed to interacting with people of different ability types, backgrounds, etc., which helps bridge understanding across various communities. And we as adults, would do well to take a lesson from our kiddos. The activities at Y help facilitate that.
Very clean facilities with all state of art equipment and great instructors
Livestrong and our instructors. Fantastic. I actually live closer to the Y on 290, but co.e to Townlake because of the instructors.
Great classes offered at optimal times (6am and 6pm)
Organized but flexible enough that kids' fun is the emphasis. That safety and hydration are a top priority, too.

I like that there are classes first thing in the morning.
The Town Lake is unique. All the members and the trainers are warm, friendly and connected. It is beside a place to train, a place you meet and visit with family. You know everybody, you smile, great, ask how they are.
I have only just joined so I’ve only tried the yoga and Pilates classes. I like that There are yoga classes gentle enough for older or injured people. Yoga studios in town that I’ve vusited are mostly geared toward very fit young people. I like the diversity of age and ability in the classes. So far all the teachers are great!
Your staff is very friendly and professional. The variety of programs that you offer are great!
The community.
Organized but fun activities. Just the right amount of both
All of them
I enjoy the pool.
The staff and people there are all amazing and super friendly!
proximity, time of class, option for using treadmills
P.S. However, I wish you would somehow put clear directions on the treadmills on how to access the tv. I'm sure it's simple but it's not obvious enough for me.
Every yoga teacher is wonderful!

Good programs for seniors.
