Fun, structured and caring. Daughter is around the same people from her after school program and alot fo the same kids, so she didnt feel scared or shy. Field trips are wonderful and she looks forward to each one.

I love the YMCA! Especially the staff. They're all super friendly and caring. They take the time to get to know the parents and engage with everyone. My kids have been going since they were 3 months old and now that they're in school, they attend after-school and during summer. Even if we had to move further away, I'd make the trip just to make sure they stay with the YMCA. The activities are always interactive and fun for the kids as well as educational. I feel my kids were prepared for school because of the Y, not only academically but socially. Mari and all the teachers at the Southside location have made my 6 years with them the best I could of ever asked for in a daycare center.
Fun, engaging activities are provided for the children. My child comes home with art project almost daily.
Kids seem to enjoy the activities and want to go to summer camp. Field Trips are good.
I like that the teachers all communicate amongst each other and I include parents as well. Everyone is always very respectful and understanding. My children seem happy and content. Everyday they’re learning new songs and participating in different activities! We will be coming back next summer!

I like the fact that there’s a set of activities that vary for every age group. I feel like my son is cared for and nurtured and not left to causing trouble. He loved his experience! He always looked forward to each scheduled day which is a great moment as a parent. Would most definitely do summer camp again next year.
The cost is much lower than other programs and I like that the children are active.
