Clean gym with very friendly staff.
Kids club, hours and how clean the place is.
I love the Y. We could use some more Treadmills and an earlier open time on Saturday and Sunday would be nice. Its hard to go from being there at 5 M-F and then having to wait on the weekends. Staff is always so nice and helpful.
Childcare! Famy oriented!
Having had a private trainer at a few gyms around San Antonio, I love the trainer (Chris) that we have! It’s also huge that we have a semi private training area in the back so we aren't fighting over machines and racks up front as it gets pretty crowded when we are there.
I love it!
Very friendly staff; good exercise equipment; need more classes geared to the senior population. Your Zumba Gold is not a senior activity (too loud and very animated dancing - ok for the younger crowd). Great family events! Add some more classes like chair yoga, chair volleyball and tai chi for your growing senior population. Center is very people oriented!! Keep up the great relationship you have established with the Cibolo community.
Also, could there be Y classes added at the Cibolo Senior Center like the Schertz Y has done to enhance the Schertz Senior Citizen offerings??? LOVE the Cibolo Y!!! Thank you!
Good equipment, usually available. Silver sneakers excellent, great leaders.
Love the kids Fitness and instructor. He does an amazing job at keeping the kids interested, engaged, and having fun
Great classes! I wish more classes were provided along with childcare after noon.
All of the programas are amazing my little one loves going to the Y, also they have the best childcare stuff I love it ❤️
This YMCA has everything! Easy parking, huge weight and exercise machine floor and variety, childcare, tons of group exercise classes, mind body studio, great pool AND pickleball courts!
It has all you want and need in a YMCA!
Family atmosphere
The Y here is doing a great job. I work with a trainer, Chris Mendoza, and he really is great (my 5th PT, so a little perspective). I also appreciate that despite being in a building owned by the church, that the DR Semmes location isn’t overly promoting Christianity. As someone with a different belief system, it’s nice not to have too much Jesus at the gym, and I appreciate that.
you offer many group exercise classes
I really like to do my exercises on the treadmill and weights it really helps me
Youth basketball program is excellent. The kids learn a lot, and they have so much fun getting to know the game!
Everything
I like the senior programs.
It would be wonderful if you could permanently give Ava the Monday pool class. It is a great class since she has been teaching it.
variety of weight lifting equipment and workout sessions provided
Very inclusive with the kids and their level of experience. I would like to see that more with the parents, staff, coaches. Most adults seem to be veteran's of this program. So A new parent and child to the program feels left out in communication and routines. So I suggest to be more welcoming to those new to the program and don't assume that they know how things work. Treat every season as a brand new season. Thank you.
Great program to help kids learn the fundamentals of swimming
My son learns so much from Miss Amy. I wish YMCA could offer additional days and times during the week.
Miss Amy is a phenomenal swim instructor
All family is engaged!
Easy to join and my kid loves playing sports with the YMCA.
I actually don't participate in any of those.
Clear cut info, clean facilities and family orientated
My son's coaches are phenomenal! Great at their coaching, encouraging and very inclusive no matter the level of skills. They love the kids and it shows with all interactions.
Very courteous and professional. It is all about the priorities of the YMCA: body, mind, spirit and driven by God.
