Activities & access to all sites
Variety, accessibility, and convenience of cardio, flexibility, and strength training in group format
We love the feel of the Y, the people make it!
Staff is friendly. Facility is clean and not too crowded. Members are courteous and generally follow the rules. Cost of membership is very reasonable.
The variety and birthday potlucks!
The people are very friendly and the place is always very clean.
I'd very much prefer a mat Pilates class at 8:00 or 9:00AM instead of 7:30AM.
I regularly attend bodypump classes, and enjoy them and get great results with them. At nearly 46 years old, with 3 to 4 classes a week and a vegan diet, my blood pressure without meds was 85/68 at my last appointment. I am not surprised to see these classes fill up. I would love to see a weekly stretching or core class right after the bodypump, though, for like thirty minutes as the cooldown in that class is very tight. I also get annoyed for my friends who have kids in childwatch and tight schedules they have to leave an 11:10 class early to get their kids instead of staying for the whole class, as childwatch ends at noon. I wish accommodations could be made for them by extending childwatch 15 more minutes.
I enjoy the body pump classes on Thursday and Saturday. The energy the instructors bring is great. I also appreciate that every time I walk in or out, I’m greeted by someone at the desk.
Great choice
I really hate being surveyed by every business I freque t. I'm going on strike. No surveys.
Elderly friendly
The wife and I will only be using the big pool to walk & swim in. We are most fortunate to have our own work out equipment at our home. We've been members there 3 different times since your opening reason we didn't stay around was the conflict on the large pool area. The way I see the use of the pool large one is we all pay a membership fee to use it and other than scheduled classes it should be first come first serve for all lanes. If people are already in a lane and its in use they shouldn't be ask if they can move into a walking lane to accommodate the swimmer that in most cases arrive 15 minutes late to begin with. We don't mind sharing the lane with a swimmer but the swimmer normally wants it to their self and will go running to the front office are pool official to get their time swimming. So sure it probably is the same way today. Just rejoined 1 September and have not reentered the pool yet. So awaiting the the future outcome.
The wide variety of equipment.
Small but has everything needed
The young people and older people that work there are both extremely nice and reach out to the appropriate age groups that they deal with makes you feel very comfortable
Very affordable for family
Friendly staff
Good classes
Parking is good
Joining was an easy process
I like the Body Pump classes and the boot camps. Could you please ask the Body Pump instructors to keep the music volume at a reasonable level, though? Loud music is not healthy and leads to hearing loss.
I love the toddler preschool classes and I love the pool. The pool however does need a real slide on a blowup slide and the pool hours are all over the place you need to streamline the pool hours as we’ve been burned many times four hours.
This is one of the best Y's I've been to. It is clean and has a large variety of equipment. It also has a wide range of classes and programs for children to adults. I like the Body Pump class as a well-rounded strength-building class. However, whenever I try to sign up for them, the classes seem to be full. I wish there was a more efficient way to manage the signup procedures. But otherwise, I am very appreciative of this facility.
Enjoy the Active Older Adult classes. Especially the strength and balance classes. Also like Clarissa Z’s Friday Zumba class at Najim.
Sam is amazing ! Best class I’ve done in a long time !!!
They are varied and instructors are good.
What I don't like is that machines in the gym sometimes don't function properly and it seems to take a long time to repair them.
Also front desk staff seem to be more focused in talking with each other rather than greeting members as they walk in or wishing them well when they leave.
Group exercise classes with focus on strengthening and balance.
Field trips
The instructors are very encouraging, supportive. I enjoy the wide range of classes for all levels. Excellent place to exercise, socialize, get fit.
The art events are a great place to meet people snd create and learn new crafts.
Great community support fof health well being.

Front desk staff and training personnel are nice and professional. In addition, there ample pieces of various equipment for clients to use.
