I would like to see more Zumba/cardio dance classes in evening and on Sundays.
Everything! They are convenient and low cost! Big fan all around.
I love the outdoor Aqua Fit Deep and Zumba exercise classes. The instructors are great, entertaining and fun and they do a really good workout. I have been to other Ys and fitness clubs where the aqua aerobics are disappointing because they're not as rigorous, just moving around in water you can stand up in. Both Jamie and especially Devon make sure that all muscle groups are worked, and that the core is strengthened. Please Keep it up and even add more options, especially during the summer.
I found the instructors to be friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They took the time to answer all my questions.
Variety of choices
My daughter enjoys swimming laps in the indoor pool in the winter and the outdoor 50 meter pool as weather permits.
I like the facilities, and I like the staff. They’ve done a pretty good job.
The wellness center is what I use.
Great staff. Friendly people.
Gym has good variety of equipment.
Major lack of chairs at the pool outside
I enjoy the group classes and instructors.
Pool year round
I am very grateful for Camp Bumblebee. It allows my son to have a traditional camp experience at an affordable price. I am especially grateful that you have increased the age limits for the campers.
How well the camp and BASE programs are run
I love the attentiveness and professionalism of the staff. We are also extremely grateful for the Bumblebee adaptive program- it is the only camp in the extended area that is inclusive and affordable.
With the multiple cabins specifically for summer camp activities, when there are hot days, it would be more helpful to know that all campers/staff are getting some relief in those air conditioned cabins (rotations for say a half an hr at a time, etc,) from time to time during the day (and not only getting air conditioning in one of the large facilities when temps are at 100. Some of the weeks this summer were torture with heat and I assumed when I signed my children up for camp there they would have more access to summer camp specific air conditioning. Thank you for this consideration.
It's nice that there are more types of activities and specific themed weeks at this YMCA camp.
Great staff and facility
Staff and facility are top notch
Found staff to be extremely helpful and friendly, especially when I had issues with paperwork initially. Daughter also super happy going to camp every day. Highly recommend this camp.
lots of options - my daughter is having a blast
I have two children enrolled at UMLY, and I really appreciate the option to pay a little extra for early drop-off—it's a lifesaver on mornings when I need to be at work by 7:20. The variety of programs offered is outstanding, keeping my kids engaged and excited each day. They especially look forward to the weekly special events, which have quickly become a highlight of their summer.
I really love the classes and instructors are fantastic at UMLY. I also love how clean the workout facility is at UMLY, there are people constantly cleaning the equipment and bathrooms so it all feels so clean. Very friendly staff as well!
Great teachers!!!
A terrific variety of intereests, ages, and levels.
Group classes
My son went to summer camp overbthere and he was very happy about it
I work out on the second floor. Love the gym. It would be helpful if people didn't sit on their phones on the machines and lose track of time. Also, would love if they turned the music down or off. Most people are listening to their own music or podcasts through their earbuds. Early in the morning I actually prefer when the music is off. there is something meditative about working out in silence and really being in touch with your body early in the morning.
most are always open or have time in the schedule for your personal activity.

i love my ymca. thank you Nate Pentz for all you do for US. my ymca is always clean and the employees are always friendly and helpful. i’d like to put a shout out for all the Lifeguards both inside and especially outside pools. the life guard is one of the most important jobs at the ymca (my opinion anyway) - they have to be ALERT 100% of the time with lots of people including tons of kiddos in the pools and members and kiddos sitting around pools all creating distractions of all types, it’s a hard job to be a good lifeguard. God Bless OUR YMCA lifeguards. and the way you have their schedules so they work on one pool for a short period of time then go to another pool then rest then repeat IT IS AN EXCELLENT method to keep them alert and moving around. i see lifeguards at other pools (other than the ymca) or at the shore that just sit for many hours in a chair staring at a pool or ocean and trying to stay focused but that’s an impossible task if your not moving around and refreshing your mind with a different scenes and areas to keep track of occasionally. . SO im thankful for the ymca schedule for lifeguards that helps keep them alert. i recently saw one our ymca lifeguard throw a fake baby into the pool in an area where it was VERY VERY crowded with little kiddies splashing around and parents playing in the pool with their kids and the parents and kiddies didn’t even notice the floating fake baby until second after it was floating the trainee lifeguard stared blowing his whistle over and ever (everyone got silent and stoped what they are doing) as he ran as fast as he could from the far other side of the pool to save the fake baby. when he pulled it out of the water all of us members started clapping. anyone anywhere can drown for any of many reasons and having alert lifeguards is so critical so THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU TO ALL THE LIFEGUARDS. and thank you Nate Pentz you do a great job with everything. from Name removed
