I truely miss pickel ball and all the friendly people!!

I have only been to the outside pool so far but I found it most enjoyable.

Over the years it’s had something for everyone in the family. Personally I’m looking forward to seeing the new gym at UMLY as that’s what I use most. My wife was doing classes but with a fear remaining about Covid has not returned. I think she feels the rooms are too closed with lots of people and not much circulation. (Better NOT follow up with her directly). I’ve paid a family membership for years now in the hope that others will go. Pay as you go would likely be better…ie can get in when you want if friends go as a pack for basketball.

I've only done one class, but everyone was very welcoming and helpful. It's a very nice atmosphere. I would say that the women's locker room is not very accommodating--it could definitely use an upgrade. But that will not keep me from returning.

I primarily use the wellness center for all the weights, machines and exercise equipment available for use by members. The Y has a vast offering of other programs as well too many to mention in fact.

Christina: I like swim and all the friends I have and the amazing counselors they are so nice to me and everybody else is nice to. There may be some ups and downs but everything’s is still fun I love Madison. She is so fun and I just love her that’s what I love bout camp ⛺️

Alvin : I love Gaga ball, lunch, pickup, I like the fact that we can go on the playground in the morning , and the owls nest , miss madison, miss Hadar ,ms Rachel , and ms charlotte are all the counselors I love ❤️

Broad programs and activities for children of different abilities and ages.

I love the wide scope of activities for kids - from sports to nature and conservancy to arts and music. There is something for every child! I also love that the Y has a simple "old school vibe" reminiscent of my childhood in the 90s. Children are outdoors, enjoying nature and friends, and away from screens. My daughter comes home sweaty and pleasantly exhausted from a summer day well-lived.

First name removed has enjoyed woodworking but you might want to change the description. It talks about a large group project they will work on but this didn't happen either time he was in the camp. Also he said they are working with scraps of wood from maintenance and that there really isn't enough good wood to make some project. He said since it's the end of summer it seems like the ran out of wood to work with. Overall he has been enjoying it.

The camp offers a lot of variety to keep it interesting over the summer. The counselors are great. They are all friendly and helpful. The leadership staff is responsive and understanding which helps so much when working with parents.

availability of equipment and times open

UMLY is a well-oiled machine, starting from the drop-off to pick-up. My kids came home on Day 1 excited about what was happening at camp and what they were going to do later in the week. They mentioned that everyone was kind, from the counselors to the campers. We will definitely be back!

My boys loved the variety of activities, and they really enjoyed all of the nature aspects. I think the YMCA is unique in the sense of the campus which offers so much. They loved it and can’t wait to return!
