We like the ease of operation and reliability of the water-softening equipment. Without the hard water, glassware seems more sparkly, and it is easier to clean sinks, tubs, and toilets.

My softener is located in a cistern of an old farmhouse. The provision of salt being delivered to me is such a blessing. I'm 84 and could never possibly do this myself. I so appreciate this service.

You deliver the salt and put it in on a schedule.
On a negative note, when you have new people deliver either they are not told where the key is or they are not looking, therefore the salt is placed by the patio door. Does not happen often but can be irritating when it does.
The service man has to go through my weird garden to get to my softener.
