Friendly staff
I love the La Mesa location more than all the other ones (and I regularly visit/visited 5 others) because of the atmosphere. It is always much quieter and has a warmer and friendlier feel than most other studios. It’s still corporate but you feel more like a person. There is usually enough room in the classes and locker room as well as in the parking lot. All the things you need not to disturb the purpose of going to yoga (and several of those are missing in most of the other studios).

I do Fusion heated yoga and I love it. When the class is all done I feel like I’m on another planet. The detox qualities of sweating that much for an hour is really good. I do wish all the mens showers had very cold water but they don’t. All the yoga mats are top notch especially the Manduka Carbon mat.

The staff the classes I am 63 and feel like I can participate and am allowed also to adjust my practice to my abilities
I do wish classes were a little more mixed during the day. ie - the am seems to have c2 and pm has c1. If some c1 could exchange times with the c2 classes.

Large studio rooms that don’t share a wall (can’t hear the others classes happening at the same time). Excellent instructors with really helpful verbal guidance.

The teachers and classes are great! This studio is one of the easiest ones to access. Parking is easy.
It was my first time doing yoga and I was a bit nervous. The ladies at the front desk we so reassuring, no judgement, informed me about all the different classes offered and what each class entailed. The studio was nicely kept, offered free locks for your stuff, locker room provided hair dryers and some personal items. My first yoga experience was so wonderful and I felt like I could really relax and enjoy my workout/stretch.
