Student Testimonials
Instructors seem very genuine, and I cannot tell you how much I have missed the hot yoga! I’m so happy to be back and be part of this community again, Thank you!
The professional, commitment, and approachability of the La Mesa staff is outstanding. They clearly love their job and that excitement and passion for yoga is contagious. Thank you La Mesa Core Power!
Very clean, as always. Friendly staff.
Excellent teacher, clean studio, showers filled with shampoo and soap, and towels available for rental.
the teachers are the best
I love the community, I love the classes offered and I love that there are so many classes throughout the day - I can always find a time that will work for me.
I’ve been to this studio twice now. It is clean, quiet, has ample parking, and the class sizes were small. I enjoyed both instructors so far and plan to return for many more classes.
The instructors are all very kind and helpful. I am very new and not very good but with their motivation and positive words I am excited to learn and get better with each class I take!
Kathi Vaughn is an amazing instructor and plays the best tunes, the best hour out of the day
The kind atmosphere
The staff and instructors are wonderful and very kind. If you don’t know what you’re doing don’t worry the instructors give great verbal instructions!
If we don't have to reserved classes.
If we do a reservation but can't make it why are we still getting charged. I have seen many time people getting into class with out a reservation???
If don't have to save a spot but if I do and don't show i get charged??
Instructor was great! Definitely be back
I love love love La Mesa CorePower yoga…super clean facility and the instructors are always top notch!
The studio is always clean and well organized in the retail section.
Claire, Tory and Paige are awesome instructors - both in Sculpt and C2. Sequencing, music, energy - all great! I go to their classes at other locations if they're teaching too, but if they're at La Mesa that's my preference to practice at. So the more you can book them there the better!
I would love to have the scan cards reengage for check-in. One of the benefits of CorePower has always been that you don't have to reserve in advance, and so there aren't cancellation fees like other studios and gyms if you don't make it. With San Diego traffic, that's a plus to a fitness membership location. But I understand COVID precautions in the advance reservation system now, but for people that don't advance book it takes a lot more of the instructors time at the front desk to check people in via their phone numbers rather than scan-cards. Please bring back one of the best benefits of CorePower membership!
The staff remembers everyone and the classes are well run.
Easy check in. Clean studio. Excellent locker room, showers and changing area. Teachers are also really good too.
I have been a black tag member since 2013. I have not visited the La Mesa studio! It is very clean, parking was easy and Amy was so amazing and had the best laugh! I really appreciate her! My daughter is at SDSU, and will be signing up as a black tag member! She loves the classes so much!
I’ve been a consistent and committed student at CPY La Mesa for 6 years. The staff are great humans and I feel part of a positive like minded community there. The only “negative feedback” I’d like to share is regarding your Teacher Training programs. I’m an instructor myself and own a Wellness company in San Diego- Out of 8 certifications, 2 TT programs I went through were at CPY in La Mesa. Although I understand that CPY is more of a corporate studio, I never once felt that I received much positive motivation or support. It felt more like a cattle call and all about the income that the TT’s produce. I speak for many in saying this. I would advise that there should be a bit more training/coaching on the management side to reflect more of a positive, supportive and uplifting environment for teachers in training. We all need to remember that it takes a lot of energy, passion and focus to become a good teacher - and when you really commit your time and love for Yoga and express your interest in teaching there, out of true respect for the practice- You should be acknowledged and supported, not ignored. It really doesn’t take much to do so. I’ve been a business leader for a long time and sometimes a little motivation and support goes a long way. Especially when you can see the person has put time, a lot of money and energy into CPY consistently, each and every week. I speak for many, that may not have the tenacity to share this feedback. I feel that it is very important. Lastly- when it comes to the classes and instructors- I can’t say enough how amazing they are. I’m proud to be part of the CPY La Mesa community. Thank you in advance- for listening. ;)
