The inspector was very informative. And pointed out some things in my home that I could easily fix to save energy. Also, gave me some pointers of how to save money when purchasing insulation products for my home. It was interesting to see how well insulated my home was at the moment. Leaving room for some improvement. I’ll definitely be beefing up some of my home insulation not that I know where to start. They provided me with a list of eligible retrofits and grants from the Canada greener homes grant program. Some of the stuff there I qualified for. Very pleasantly surprising. Very professional. Haven't disappointed, it's just too early to ask this question. I haven't received the report yet and there's been no follow-up inspection. This seems like a later question.
Excellent recommendations, and excellent aid. The poor guy also had to fight our attic hatch and install a handle to get it open. He also somehow managed to eyeball the handle location and stuck it dead centre which is not relevant but was impressive. Everything was very clearly laid out for us, and the super handy chart made the very confusing government information crystal clear. Will absolutely recommend, and I am really excited to get the work done!
