I love going to the gym, I was intimidated by it at first, but I am so glad I workout here. Most of the staff are friendly, and I enjoy the community that Powerhouse has to offer. The basketball court is amazing and also the sauna. I truly enjoy coming to the gym and doing my workouts. Also, I think that the locker room cleaning crew are amazing, they do a great job and should get a raise! They really do such a wonderful job, and it doesn't go unnoticed. Please tell them I appreciate how clean the locker rooms always are!
The only complaint I have is that the classes in the morning interrupt my workouts. I do not think it is okay that the personal trainers are allowed to kick people of the turf/track area if they are not in the class. I pay to come to the gym to use all the public equipment. Some people have told me "well can't you go to the gym when they aren't doing classes?" I do not think it is fair to schedule my workout around a class that is out in the open public area, and not in a class specific room. A compromise would be to have the classes on the turf/track, but not kick other paying customers out of that area.
