The sign at the door says no "Open Carry" firearms; a Section 30.07 warning. There was no Section 30.06 sign (disallowing concealed carry weapons).
Not long ago, my wife was carrying a normal sized purse. The "ticket taker" demanded to search her purse. Reluctantly, she allowed that to happen. We were told to take the legally carried pistol to the car. We stood our ground and cited the law. Another young man came, apparently a manager who incorrectly cited the law. He even tried to say that we now have displayed the concealed weapon and had to take it outside. Actually, he was looking down into the purse; it was not publically displayed. Eventually, they conceded that we were allowed to carry a concealed weapon. The reason that we go to the Embassy Theater is that there is no 30.06 prohibition of concealed carry weapons.
We went again this weekend and got no flak from staff. The Security Office (an off duty Sheriff's deputy), also verified our position concerning concealed carry.
The staff were very efficient and the theater was quite clean.

What did you like about your Santikos experience?

Santikos is like a best kept secret.I can't imagine nobody not taking advantage of the opportunity to get out of the house and go see a movie. Thanks for staying open! I've seen some great classic films plus a few new ones. I usually get fresh hot popcorn, except for the one time it was kinda, "blah". I like the free refills on drinks and I love the recliner seats.

I was SOOOOOOOOO happy to just get out and do something normal again, like go to a movie. In fact, I am bringing a different person tonight for another movie. We will see Jaws. I thought it might be fun to see it on the big screen again. At this point the theater is not at all crowded, it is very clean, and so I feel completely safe going back to the Embassy Movie Theater.

No complaints, I felt completely safe visiting your theatre. One suggestion would be to bring back the he strawberry shortcake dessert! There was no variety of dessert options.

I like to go to the Galaxy because it's close to home, but it's closed due to Covid. So my next Santikos is the Palladium, but it's so far. So last weekend I tried the Embassy. It's midway, mileage wise, bigger than the Galaxy, and not as imposing as Palladium. Plus it had the movie I wanted to see, which was "Outpost ".

What did you like about your Santikos experience?

Embassy is the theater I go to and I'm so glad it's open again. The employees are always courteous and knowledgable, both auditoriums and restrooms are always clean, and food is always fresh and tasty; but tends to be a little pricey for my wallet. But that can be balanced with Santikos great awards program. All in all Santiko theaters are great.
