Love the theatre and how roomy it is, comfortable seating like sofa recliners. They need to keep the jack n coke slushy machine fixed tho.

I really enjoyed the experience of trying Santikos for the first (and second) time. We recently moved to Winston-Salem from out of state and haven't been to the movies in a long time. The employees were kind, the price of tickets and refreshments were reasonable, the seats were comfortable, and the theaters weren't crowded to the max.
There are only 2 things that I didn't care for, but both were understandable. First, the movie-goer crowd seems to have changed to a less respectful group. Both times we visited there were multiple audience members who talked, cheered, or clapped in the middle of the film. That is really annoying because one goes to the movies to escape and become a part of a story, but that brings you right back out of the movie and you lose that feeling. But this changed after COVID. It's not just this theater or just North Carolina - it's everywhere.
The second thing is that an employee asked to search my wife's purse to ensure we weren't bringing an outside beverage or food item. I honestly don't think it's a bad idea to search backpacks or totes. But a woman's purse may contain very personal items. To sift through a woman's purse is both arrogant and rude, in my opinion.

It’s our favorite Santikos theater. HOWEVER, the kiosks in the lobby do not accept (medhanically they don’t work) either the santikos card or manual entry of your club number. This is consistent. The devices are defective. Over numerous visits, they never work properly (as recent as last week - no change). This results in extra time calling over a manager (who always requires us to go the the snack bar to add the loyalty number.
The option, of coursr, is to use my phone to pre-purchase our tickets which works perfectly AND RESULTS IN AN ADDITIONAL SERVICE CHARGE. Hence our consistent attempts to buy at the theater Kiosks.
This should be an easy fix for management.. but it continues without change - now into multiple months.

Theaters are clean, seats are super comfortable, staff are pleasant, and the popcorn is great!
It’s conveniently located close to my home they have promotions like military Mondays and five dollar Tuesdays. They have a happy hour at their concession stands and bar. They also have a bowling alley and a game room.
Clean, fun atmosphere!

I love the new recliners and the overall atmosphere of the theatre! It's always my go-to!
I'd give it a 10, but in the past few years going there, I've had so many experiences with other guests being on phones, talking, etc. during movies. I've had to switch seats to get away from talkers and one time had to leave the movie to get an attendant for some unsupervised kids that were running up and down the stairs the whole movie. I think the theatre and it's guests could benefit from an attendant checking in on the movies a few times while it's showing to make sure everyone is being respectful and not acting like they're in their own home. It's great to be that comfortable there, but not at the expense of others who paid to be there.
We love going to Santikos in Cibolo, TX. Thank you for discount days Military Monday & Family Tuesday that allow my wife & I to afford to go to the movies. As senior citizens with a limited income, these discounts on admission & food is much appreciated. The theater is well kept with comfortable seats & employees are very kind/helpful//patient with us senior citizens. Thank you so much & God Bless Santikos employees
