I love the studio and teaches
The yoga was very professional. And I had a very good experience. I actually got recommended by one of my friend.
I am disappointed that the 7.15am yoga classes have been cancelled at the Potts Point studio. They were quite full and student AND teachers wanted to keep them.
As a result I am out of my routine since this started and can’t seem to find a new one that fits for me.
Except for this I love BodyMindLife!
Great studio. Lovely teacher.
I loved the teacher and the class she taught on Sunday morning. I also love the quick and ease of signing into a class and being able to use the mat and the good vibe the studio has. Thanks
always very friendly reception, qualified teachers with different styles, the rooms are clean and well equipped, the tea and magazines are nice. Wifi would b good
I took my first ever Yoga class two days, went back today (bought the pass for the month) and I have never fallen more in love with a practice and teaching. Prior to this Yoga experience, I have never been to a Yoga studio before so I was very impressed with the calming and soothing atmosphere the studio had to offer. The staff is very friendly, the classes are challenging yet I am able to discover and perfect my own pace. I want to constantly push myself and I feel a sense of home and belonging which is always an added bonus. Ten out of ten would reccomdend this studio to anyone who shares the love for Yoga or is wanting to give it a try just like I did!
Kate D is a great teacher - her classes on Sunday are brilliant!
Options, location, teachers
i think most things are great, but there is a real problem with the website when you are waitlisted it doesnt always work, and then one goes when there was no availability and the class is half full.
Somehow the actual vs waitlist doesnt sync. I think it needs attention
Hi,
I recently attended the inversion workshop with Ari on Saturday 25th August. While I enjoyed Ari’s teaching style and personality, the overall experience was disappointing.
Having just completed my 200hr yoga teacher training, I found this workshop ignored the general safety of all participants whom attended.
The workshop size was heavily overcrowded, with no space for students to move freely and safely. The ratio of students to teacher meant Ari was unable to attend to all students to provide them with correct alignment advise.
This meant students were correcting other students without consent, students rushing ahead, falling on their bodies and potentially causing self harm. In addition I saw students supporting themselves against storage shelves with minimal support in order to participate with the inversion poses.
Overall due to the lack of awareness and safety provided during this workshop, I felt it best I leave as this was not a comforting nor supporting environment to experiment and practice inversions.
Given this experience I would not recommend Body Mind Life and will continue my practice elsewhere.
Nice studio, facilities and lovely teachers.
The yoga timetable at Potts point has changed significantly. The 6am yoga is now only offered at 615 (which makes it too late for me to get to work), and the 515pm class is only an essentials program (rather than the open). I wondered if there is anyway of requesting changes to this? As a result I am unable to get to many classes that I would have previously attended or else have to travel to surry hills or bondi which is not as convenient as I only live in potts point which is a walk away. I was much happier with the previous timetable that was offered and more alternating between open and essentials classes
Thank you
Welcoming staff, calming space and excellent class and workshop style and structure.
Everybody is so friendly and helpful , the instructors are amazing
Great facilities and teachers. Reception could be friendlier
The people are enthusiastic and engaging when greeting you at reception. There is feeling of energy. The physical environmental is modern and light without having a clinical tone. All the teachers I have encounter are there because they want to teach and I learn something every time
Very good service. Knowledgeable teaching. Good work shop. Wanna see this workshop photos.
Great instructor, nice studio, good vibes
I hadn't done yoga for years, but I enjoyed the class very much, feeling refreshed and relaxed at the end. Not feeling too much pressure during the class encouraged me to take another class at my own pace. Staffs were nice and friendly as well. I'd definitely recommend my friends who want to start yoga to try this place. :)
The yoga teaching
The look and feel of the studios
Love the instructors — shout out the Carla + Chelsey both finally back!
Please bring back the ‘real’ music — it makes all the difference when your core is on fire!!
I like the class although the staff in the reception was not kind.
its efficient
Online booking, timetable of the classses; interior of the studio, high quality teachers
1 I’ve rung your office 2 times to speak with Mandy and still no response
2 Really disappointed with the chopping and changing of the yoga teachers. Evidently they don’t like the Sydney winter so all leave and temps fill in.
3 The level of some of the temps is questionable and I’m surprised they have past the “Noelle” teaching scale (swearing/teachers asking do you get it? understand? Every 5 minutes/ no understanding of flow
4 Taking claires 830 wed class away was the icing on the cake
5 with over 500 hrs of your classes I think I get it and I’m really surprised that the last 8 weeks are actually affecting what your brand has stood for at least for me over the last 18mobthsofregulas bondiclasses. I am now considering putting my membership on hold to consider what to do because I’m not enjoying the current rostering of unknown teachers and searching g for ones I won’t feel “I want that hour of my life back”.
I have been the greatest fan of body mind life but honestly at the moment I can’t recommend it to friends. I’m sorry to say all this because there are so many great teachers there Rachel Charlotte Claire Andrew Christian that we all love but currently I’m really disillusioned by it all. And taking 8:30 away was s packed class of Claire devotees. I’m not the only person her feels at a loss about what’s going on. And no one has ever called me back either to discuss...
The class was described as suitable for beginners. Ive done yoga on and off over the years and it was by far the hardest class ive done. The person on the front desk told me i probably wouldnt need a towel as its "just a beginner class". I sweated through my shirt.
I also have poor eyesight and was worried i wouldnt be able to see the teacher demonstrate the moves very well, howevet she moved around the class the entire time and verbally said what the moves are at a very quick pace so i had to constantly look around the room to check i was doing things correctly.
A few tweaks would make this better. The teacher can assure everyone at the beginning to go at their own pace, to listen to their body and make sure they work with themselves and dont push themselves too hard. And Make sure each move is clearly demonstrated.
Othwrwise i really enjoyed my time and will keep coming. But the classes needs to be made more accessible for beginniners and people with disabilities.
Beautiful studios! Amazing teachers! So many classes! If only it was closer! But I’d still travel over an hour just to come to bml!!
The studio is beautiful, but the classes are very expensive and only an hour instead of 90 minutes. The teachers are good, but I'd expect more for the price.

The environment is great, the teachers are amazing! The rooms too. It's just the perfect venue to feed my soul.
