The staff @ Bondi have all been so lovely and positive. Also love the amount of classes on offer each day.
Nice space, nice people!
The physical studio itself is spacious, comfortable and relaxing. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable.
Class availabiliy, clean airy studio, teacher quality, extensive facilities, friendly reception
The teachers, the space the positive energy
Great atmosphere. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic instructors
Great facilities and non-threatening, welcoming environment for non-flexi people who love yoga.
I thought the instructor was a lovely person but the class was confusing. It was hard to hear him (music was playing), and his french accent made it challenging to understand his cues. As he wasn't doing the pose with you I couldn't look to see what he meant and when looking around the class, everyone was either confused and not doing it or doing other random poses.
Some sequencing was only done on one side and all in all I felt a bit ripped off for paying $26 for this class. I didn't know whether I was in a beginner class or advanced given the complexity of the poses and lack of modifications.
I was considering joining as a member but if this is the calibre of instructors, it's made me hesitate.
Again, he was a lovely person but as for instructing it's not a class I would do over or recommend to others.
Super friendly staff
Teachers are great / the place is relaxing and I feel so good after a yoga class.
its clean and quick!
Sometimes classes are allowed to get too full which makes it not enjoyable as there is not enough space to properly stretch and relax. Also people are allowed to get in after the class has started which again interrupts the flow.
Great teachers and small classes
The email I received with my online booking / login credentials did NOT have a password attached to it. The system will not let me reset the password (I am not receiving emails when I try to reset the password). I cannot book classes online....
great selection of instructors and time slots friendliness and general good vibe
The variety of classes as well as the timetable.
The classes were full, and I tried to speak to a membership consultant, I was told to email, and no one emailed me back. I have since had a promotional email and a survey email from you, but no response to my email requesting assistance.
Experienced teachers, Plenty of classes to chose. I love it
As locker space is limited during peak times, please ensure any broken lockers are fixed quickly so all are usuable.
more lockers, and fix the ones at the surry hills studio, later pilates classes, have a different pilates teacher in the morning before work instead of the same one 3-4 days straight.
Keep teachers like Jan! Treat students and teachers with respect.
After 8 months off following surgery and injury I was anxious about doing my first class back. Allie was awesome; she was a lovely manner and provided clear instruction. Love it and will be join up again.
Amazing teachers!
The instructors - friendly staff, good facilities
I like how the classes run and the energy of each teacher in the building :)
I have been with BML for over 7 years. I use to go to surry hills but since Potts Point is closer I now attend the classes here. My feedback is:
1) I have noticed that potts point still doesn't have as many open classes as the surry hills studio. My impression is that potts point still seems to cater more to the new comers. This is limiting to those more experienced yogis who are dedicated to practicing more often.
2) Also I love the lunch power hour classes - why have the classes been reduced to 45min when in surry hills it is still 1hr during lunch time. By the time you get on the mat you have to get off!! I appreciate that some people have only 1 hour for lunch, but it is too short and now I don't even go to the lunch classes anymore.
3) Some classes there are not enough blocks; more blocks would be great to ensure there are enough to go around
Outside of this I love the classes
Frequency & selection of classes available
Good service, made me comfortable, lots of space, good locker facility, clean bathrooms and drinking water.
The guy that taught at 9am on Easter Sunday was... in not even what words to use: he had a room full of people, including my brother in law who has probably been to 3 yoga classes in his life, trying to stand on his head, for about 7 reps! No bandha application, no spinal alignment, no mention of what part of the head should be in contact with the floor. I just can't believe that this actually happened to be honest. I've been practicing yoga all over the world for the past 15 years. I know that for many it is a bit of. "Sport" and I enjoy that aspect of it also. But this was just plane dangerous. No options were given to do anything but "if you get your feet off the ground that's great!" I'm suprised no one has sued. I know someone else who has been to this guys class: she told him she was pregnant and he had her doing heavy core work and encouraged her to "twist deeper". She miscarried. She can't be bothered bringing it up with you but I think your management need to know. I know another place that is currently having legal action taken against them by a beginner who was encouraged into a headstand and hurt her self.
I have been to this guys class in the past and I thought he wasn't very knowledgeable but I was able to modify to suit my needs. But yesterday that was not possible I just had to stop completely and I was horrified to see all the people I. The room doing things they CLEARLY could not do properly. I realize this happens a lot all the time but yesterday was officially the worst experience I have ever had in regards to yoga classes. If anyone were to take legal action against that teacher, I have no doubt at all that he would be found to be grossly negligent. Even if yoga had nothing to do with wellness, and was simply a sport, what I witnessed yesterday was appalling. I love a strong class. But this was frankly: stupid. You can give a strong class without putting so many people in danger.
The sad thing is, the teacher clearly would love to be good at what he does but he just hasn't had the right training or advice from his mentors. It's a pity to squash someone's passion. Management or a more senior teacher really need to spend some time with this guy.

Atmosphere, classes are good, love the long yoga classes that are 75 or 90 minutes, changing rooms are lovely, love that you have lockers and don't charge.
