I like the pools but the lap pool is too cold. I like the silver sneakers class and love the chair yoga with nadine. I like the uplift and shine class but it is very hard to follow. too fast.i try to keep up. Dobb at the front counter is very friendly.

Less crowded than the east side. Very friendly staff. All the trainers are very personable too. I actually live much closer the main Peak, but got tired of people occupying 3 machines at a time. Management won’t do anything about it either!

The Westbank Peak is a first-rate facility. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the equipment is top shelf, and the place is always spotlessly clean.

Very peaceful gym! I love it here. I love the variety it offeres with all the different areas, plenty of space to just be in your own zone. Meira Facione took me on a wonderful tour and got me signed up. She made me feel comfortable and motivated. Aryeh Steinberg helped me the other day with a question about weight loss. He was very helpful and motivating as well. I plan to start training sessions with him in January.
Gym is clean and great variety of equipment
As far as gyms in the $50-60 price bracket (which seems to be the norm/sweet spot for gym memberships nowadays), Fitness Factory Edgewater is outstanding. This is probably my favorite gym membership I've ever had. Spacious and clean facilities, the members actually clean up after themselves, friendly/helpful staff. The sweeping view of the Hudson/NYC skyline in the cardio area is a nice plus. The gym is spacious enough that even at peak hours, you never feel super cramped there. I especially love that there are 3 dumbbell stations around the gym (weight room, cable machines, blue turf).
The only minor complaint I can even think of is I wish the showers in the mens locker room were better. Water pressure is a bit weak, but this is negligible given the other major pros of this gym. Also maybe get some more benches in front of the dumbbells.
The cleanliness of the facility, attitude and quality of the staff, and the equipment provided. MAC by far is the best facility and health club I have been a member of.
Equipment is kept in good working order and the sauna and steam are excellent. Lots of variety of classes are offered as well as on demand classes.

Being that I'm INCREDIBLY out of shape, I can't tell you how convenient it is to have access 24 hours, I can slide in there anytime (mostly when it's empty) so I don't have to deal with the embarrassment of going into a crowded gym with all those people who've been at it for a long time. Besides that, the staff has been very helpful and it's always clean and the machines are top notch! So go ahead and bite the bullet! I swear it makes you feel so good to get your body back how it's supposed to be, even if you're at the very beginning!
