We asked for an estimate to repair our sliding glass door . The rollers and track need repair . The estimator gave us a whole house estimate to replace our windows. What a waste of time. If you were unable to provide the service that we asked for, why did you even come?
The guy came to give me an estimate to finish my basement. I just had a new full bathroom put in and wanted to finish the rest. He goes into this speel about needed plans and permits and states it will be 1400 bucks for these plans. So come to give me an estimate to get an estimate....

Yes. The whole phone call/experience was a waste of my time. I specified that it was a small job and was given an appointment. Only to receive a call 2 hours before the appointment to be told they only accept jobs worth at least $500. Why would they even call me? It doesn't seem like a handy man option to me.

price was THREE times higher than the average of the other three proposals we received.
we are talking about 7 or 8 pieces of wood, 35-55 nails, and applying 8oz to 12oz of paint, at a initial quoted bee ess price which was then significantly discounted. HOW STUPID DO YOU THINK I AM???? And more, even though the price was ridiculously steep, The appraiser warned that 1000's more may be assessed if more and worse damage was uncovered. So being a reasonable person, it occurred to me that I would be writing a blank check by accepting the proposal, with the prospect of a FIVE FIGURE cost literally baked into the cake.

Your company always seems to be the most expensive of all my estimates. I still have one project I have not assigned to a estimate yet which you looked at but again was the most expensive.
Second encounter of communication was never fulfilled.
Project may not be within company's profitability margins which is understandable.
I paid a $900 deposit and have not heard anything. When people had over their money they want to hear from you. If I do not hear anything today - day 3 - I will cancel.
