Preface: I’m a African American woman and live in a upper middle class area in Bowie, MD in a single family home.
Sought out Beltway Builders to paint my 2-Story Foyer. I’m redecorating and changing my color scheme. I was surprised and disappointed with the quote I received from David Collins. The estimated price was $2,300 without the paint; with no explanation of why the cost was so high. I was expecting to receive a detailed explantation on the quote document but it wasn’t there. To add insult to injury as soon as David Collins told me the price in the next breath he asked how I would be paying, rather than explaining the cost or scheduling a date.
I was so upset about the cost, I went back and found the estimate when I got my house painted in 2016. I got my foyer, master bedroom, master bath and 2 bedrooms and bath for $1,900. The price of the foyer alone was $875.
It clear that David Collins gouged the price for whatever reasons. I would never recommend this company to my neighbors and friends.
I thought the price was excessive for the scope of work.
Salesman showed up 3 hours early no call website said free estimate that was a joke wanted 1400 dollars to design then they would have estimate would not recommend this company to my enemy

The quote you provided was 50% more than the lowest quote I received. The project manager was very polite and did a good job of explaining things, so not going forward is based on the quote.
The project manager Jake was courteous, knowledgeable on the best products to accomplish my project goals. I felt confident that my concerns were heard and addressed professionally. I recieved a quick and reasonable estimate for the project and a realistic time frame for materials and installation. I am happy with the level of service provided.

Uncomfortable feeling
The person who came to give me an estimate for my deck arrived on time but wasn’t able to come up my front steps because of medical issues. I understood and they were going to send someone else. Haven’t heard from the company since.
Didn't give an estimate yet. Did not ask for input on the project.
Everything went well.
The estimator came 5 hours early, with no call or email confirmation. My wife was working from home as a teacher, and I was at work. She was not able to speak with him, and his estimate was astronomical in price, and not at all what we had requested. I will be seeking estimates elsewhere that are more professional and respectful of the times that were scheduled.

Estimate was way out of line. In fact it was ridiculous to even consider an estimate that high. Also I see a lot of very bad reviews for Beltway Builders so I would have to think twice about using you even if the estimate was in line.

Beltway Builders built a new deck for me this past summer and I am looking forward to them completeing the main floor in the house.
Was quoted $275 to clean rain spouts and gutters on a townhome. Waaay too expensive. Company we used before was $170 for the same job but it would take a month for them to be able to fit us in. The company I found to do the job yesterday was only $70. $275 for a townhouse is the highest I’ve ever heard of, even for a single family home....
