Not enough attention given to the sale
On August 23, after waiting a long time for a response from my inquiry for a quote to do some work on my home, Melanie Kral Email address removed via sendgrid.net contacted me to see if I still had a need for some construction. I told her I was looking to have several projects that needed to be addressed. She told me "Thank you for scheduling your upcoming appointment with Allied Restoration, Inc. Please make note of the following details about our meeting.
This was the email I received from your office:

Time: 4:00 PM
Please allow a 1.5 hour time frame for travel.

Aug. 31st, 4:00 pm, Senior Project Manager, Matthew Lucas came to see the different items I needed to be done.
*A car pad for off-street parking
*Stucco repair around the foundation
*outdoor stairwell retaining wall repair
Matt told me he would have some proposals by the end of the week
On Sept. 3rd I left a message with Matt to follow up on the proposal, He didn't return my call.
On Sept. 13th I called your office number Phone number removed and asked if they would have Matt call me and that I was still waiting to hear his proposals.
My question to you is: Would you do business with a company that has no communication with their client request.
I contacted your Project manager and your office several times and nobody has gotten back to me.
When someone wants to know who performed the work on my property, I know I won't have any referrals for a company that wastes my time and that will be my comment about Allied Restoration Inc.

You want to hear from me while I want performance from B.B. I was quoted a price a couple of months ago and thought that someone was coming to do the work last week. Instead someone showed up took a picture that I had submitted and quoted a price for the work almost $100.00 over the previous agreed to price. He, also, at my request, quoted other work and I am not questioning the additional work quote. I emailed them last Wed/Thurs and have not heard from anyone.
Not yet, we only had the consult and contract. Actual work has not yet begun.
The service was great. I’m still getting estimates to decide on the best company to complete the job.

My consultant was very creative and help me out a lot on making the best decision on finishing my basement
Yes I asked for a break down of the services I wanted done and I was told that I couldn't not have one. Who gives you a contract to sign with no prices just a total.

I appreciated the honesty of the rep who came to give an estimate. He could have taken advantage of me, and my lack of technical expertise, but told me I did not need the work I thought I might, and could do the job much much cheaper than he would charge for what actually needed to be done. When I do need work, I will definitely call you.

I had an estimate done on Tuesday. As of Saturday, I still have not received that estimate eventhough someone from the company reached out to me to follow up. I have also spoken with the representative twice and still have nothing. I want to move forward but at this point I feel like it is better to move on to a different company.
The fact that the estimator emphasized the they were a big company and they only come out to work if your spending a certain amount of money was a complete turn off. We are a hard working family who have saved up enough to pay enough for this project but were made to feel not so important to this company. I will spend my money somewhere else for that alone.
the prices were too high!!
I had to follow up several times to get the contract updated and still have not received it (over a week). I had to go with another company to be able to get the work done by the date I asked in the initial project quote. They were responsive and quick to come out, but updating the statement of work shouldn't take this long and it felt like I was being strung along until I would eventually give up asking for an update... which is what happened. It's a small job for a big company, i get that, just disappointing in how that's how it was treated.
Your product is exactly what I am looking for. However, I am not thrilled with the cost. I am seeking out to others at this time.
Your sales rep was very good at his job and I felt comfortable with him. This is not an easy decision. I do appreciate all your help.

2 different appointments from 2 different secretaries on the same day. Allied never showed up on Monday as scheduled (allied). The one from Beltway did. Show up earlier in the afternoon than scheduled after calling for early arrival. Nice young man. As he was leaving he said he would email estimate in about an hour or so. Almost 2 days later I still don't have an estimate. Don't appreciate my time being wasted and waiting on an estimate. The young man told me before he left both were the same Co. How can secretaries screw this up so bad.
