Peace of mind this service provides

My experience was negative. The supervisor was to bring the caregiver for intros but this never happened. The caregiver was vague about her background. On request she took blood pressure once but had only ever done so twice in the four yrs she was with you. Most of what i needed was catch up in the house. She needed constant supervision and repeated instructions on the simplest things like hanging up blouses or cleaning kitchen floor. She lied about what she had done and argued at times tho basically pleasant- clueless about basic house-cleaning. Failed even with instruction to understand how to use a small cleaner for under cupboards and a long mop. She was very slow, taking ages to find a date on a can and scrubbing the middle of a hall with a small sponge instead of a long mop! Correcti8ng her and instructing her became impossible though I was patient for the first three trips - waste of time and money tho supervisor was open to complaint.

The light housework that was done was below even minamim standards. It seemed to me the one lady did not want to do any housework. Even the smallest of chores such as dusting my TV stand was done with such poor quality I did not ask her to do anymore because it was fustrating.

I would expect all hires would be fully trained on all aspects that they may encounter with clients such as emptying a catheter or transfers for example. The reticence of one of the individuals and her hesitation to ask questions for clarity caused both care and cooking concerns.

Worker expected to drive me to a medical appointment . I prepared a list for
cleaning and she did everything on the list including emptying the vacuum,.
She appreciated I made a cup of tea.

Shannon is my care taker, and she is awesome. I have no complaints at all, it's very helpful during the healing process until i'm able to do everything on my own again.

My needs were not meet

Though the young lady who came to assist me by doing my laundry and vacuuming, etc. was very polite and friendly, I felt she was inexperienced and should have been vetted better.

I have experienced cases where the caregiver was late by more than 1/2 hour and no one called me and it was up to me to find out when the caregiver was coming. Some have not been that knowledgeable in regards to my case and some just were not a good fit.

Service is great, but you guys need to start taking feedback about individual nurses, I am receiving service from 2 different nurses, Kim is excellent and the other one is worst, so my rating here may not reflect much.

It was exactly the assistance we needed! I arrived home from the hospital and didn't really know what do to about my rehabilitation. We received great advice which really calmed us and set the course for my rehabilitation.

Alexandra, the nurse was careful, gentle, very thorough and efficient. Katherine, the Care Designer was wonderful to work with. I felt that our needs were addressed and that we are in responsible hands.

You have accommodated my needs even as they change; sometimes I might not need the same level of care or I realize that I might not need someone every day and you have always been amazing at changing it to suit my requests and that is most important for someone that does not always know what amount of care they will need, and you have never made me feel guilty about changing my schedule or trying so hard to accommodate my needs and for that I am most grateful. This is a remarkable service, especially for many of us without family support, so thank you.

Katherine and Susan have been wonderful, and provided me with confidence that I could become independent after my surgery. They were both professional, knowledgable and extremely patient with my many questions and concerns.
